  1. I’d cook for ya and give you a place to hang out. You can’t see the city from here, but it ain’t too far down the road. Looking forward to seeing you soon.
  2. Most of the value is in the land I would assume.
  3. Just practicing up for next weeks election.

Until it started raining/snowing…then I felt pretty good in the cab of my truck with a place to sleep in the back.

Did you stabilize that in post, or are you running on a gimbal?

I was wondering why the internet kept lagging yesterday. Shepp was uploading photos and hogging bandwidth from the rest of the Country. damn man, you went through some beautiful places and got some great photos to remember the trip. The bumper is just another memory. Beat that thing into function and leave it as a reminder of a great time.

Damn that’s some beautiful stuff. Looks like an awesome trip.
  9. I figured that improper loading had a bit to do with it. Something that heavy shouldn’t be able to shift. And he shouldn’t have been hurrying…I’ll agree with that. Earlier in the year we had an improper load of heavy steel go through the cab and kill the driver when he had to get on the breaks hard. I can understand why trucks get checked over as hard as they do. Safety first folks.
  10. Tap the breaks while damn near jackknifed…and the load shifted or something? I’m trying to wrap my head around how you do that on flat ground. Assuming he was Randy-Rush before the photo…
  11. My wife has been rolling through a bunch of his stuff on YouTube tonight. Interesting.
  12. Don’t leave…trust me, you have more questions. There are different patterns to the 308 frames. There’s a lot of differences and you’ll want to make sure you have one that matches up. Are you planning to build an upper, or buy one assembled? Does the shop you bought the lower from sell complete uppers?
  13. Perhaps the jig came with it?
  14. Dammit…well what damn good are pictures of the 5.56? I guess I quit reading halfway through. Fuk me.
  15. This is the difference in frame size. See the size of the magazine well? If the ammo doesn’t fit in a magazine that fits that well, there would be no way to feed it. It could be argued that sure, you could build a single shot upper for it…but what would that help?
  16. If that’s pictures of the gun in question…Looking like AR-15 probably stamped 7.62x39. No, that won’t fit a 308 upper.
  17. You are about to have a few more questions. Caliber isn’t the deciding factor in any of this. There are no standards in the 308AR world, so getting an upper receiver that matches your lower will be important. The caliber you choose can be one of many and is mainly affected by the barrel and bolt you install. What brand is your 80% lower?
  18. Get some good pics when she’s back on the road.
  19. I am not gonna ask what you were searching for when you stumbled into that one…
  20. I don’t know anything about that
  21. Nope, but she might taste queer.
  22. To be fair, I may have misgendered it…I didn’t ask what it identifies as. Please pass along my apology to her, it ,they…you know what I mean.
  23. I’m gonna do it…the nomenclature speech just like AR10. You have a good description of what makes a bull a steer, but the other calf was a heifer. She’ll be a cow once she’s had a calf herself. Until then, she would appreciate it if you used her proper pronouns. All said in fun, I swear. And as an educational piece for the non-cattle crowd.
  24. There’s always time for another degree. Sometimes just a sense of humor is enough, other times you might have to ignore it and move on to the next topic.
