True. My wife has been trying to get chickens here for the last couple of years. I haven’t been ready. It’s definitely cheaper to buy eggs at the store unless you have an endless supply of food for the little cluckers, so it won’t be a money saver…but we’ll also never be short on eggs. When I finish the dog run, her coop is the next thing I have on the list to build.

His book is free on audible. That’s a good follow up for lone survivor.

Looking for the next “book on tape”. Finished up Lone Survivor today - that was pretty damn good actually. Marcus had some serious Devine intervention schit going on - like way more than Jules in Pulp Fiction. The guys that didn’t come off the mountain sound like true warriors and amazing heroes we lost. All because they made one bad decision not to execute the goat fukers that found them.

Which is likely why they’ll leave it in place and have somewhere more gun friendly to move their business should it come to it…maybe. That’s the most optimistic thought I’ve had in a while - sorry.

And if you’re a terrible reader like me…audible is worth it. I spend almost 2 hours a day in the car and listening to these books is way better than the radio.

Going back a page to @98Z5V talking about Robert’s Ridge…that one was free on Audible if you have that service. A little over halfway through it right now. What a complete clusterfcuk. I can’t believe how many bad decisions were made in succession that just kept leading to worse and worse. Credit to the guys who were doing what they were asked to do, but 99% of that was avoidable if they’d had competent people making the initial calls.

I’m sourcing somewhere to get the blank. Place I normally ordered stuff from only sells 5 packs and they’re $18ish a piece. I don’t need 5.
