  1. Awesome! So …. What’d we choose for glass?
  2. Maybe a winter house in AZ??
  3. I marred one up pretty good this way. Wouldn’t recommend it.
  4. Guess I won’t mention the pliers.
  5. When you say drop one round then cycle, explain this. Single round in magazine, load, fire, locks back on empty mag?
  6. I wish we could “like” posts. Thank you for that one.
  7. Looks good man!
  8. I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess my state won’t have a “fast track” permit.
  9. Oh crap…not that again!
  10. Really? It changes on April fools…this an early joke?
  11. I guess we know who your friends aren’t. I didn’t get one. What’s the scoop?
  12. Also, did you say the tube isn’t against the retaining pin? It should be on top of it, holding it in place. It rides up and down on the spring so you can pull the buffer out. I may have misread the comment about being able to thread in a little more and hitting the pin.
  13. He’ll be back. Hard to read that tape pic, but you’re positive it’s 7-3/4”? How long was your buffer? Is it 3-1/4”? @98Z5V
  14. That’s awesome time spent, event if unsuccessful on the hunt, there’s plenty of “win” in those trips.
  15. Just doin your duty.

    Great Grandpa

That’s a pretty cool photo to have.
  17. …and now we have completed the checklist.
  18. “…officers used baton strikes and pain compliance techniques to subdue…” sounds like they whooped his ass. Maybe he tripped on the way to the cruiser.
  19. That would be a fun test at the range down the road. Carefully hand feed soft points one by one for a group at 100 and 200, then auto feed for another set of groups and compare.
  20. If it had to be hijacked by anyone, I’m damn glad it was you hemi.
  21. More good info. I told him to look it up and he pressured me to post up his question here. I’ve been screenshotting answers back to him…because I don’t want to explain to an engineer how to use the internet.
  22. Gracias. Great info I’ll pass along.
  23. You know how you can tell this is an old group? We went from after action report to knee replacements and medical insurance. Not saying stop, or even expecting a thread to stay on topic. Just a funny observation. About the only thing we’re missing is a talk about fiber and keeping regular.

    My first gun

Got the same at about 10. Still have mine as well. Mine isn’t quite as old though. Only about 32 years.
  25. Thank you for the input Rex.
