  1. I wonder what produces a larger footprint. Cows. Tractors and machines farming incredibly large fields(even larger if we move to veggie only) Thousands of peasant level (yes, that's what it would take to do it even close to affordably) workers using hand tools. Hundreds of millions of people with more gas than normal due to the high veggie intake.
  2. Revival of a good one.
  3. Lol. Yeah, she's a special kind of special. She was however on the "wtf" side with us. They assign homework a stack at a time every Monday. Out of all the sheets and the fact that there were 12-15 of those on that sheet alone, she knew which one I meant as soon as I brought it up.
  4. 10 points for Plane. Talked to the teacher today. The answer was FLIT.
  5. They don't offer the Spanish emersion class here. We did have him in after school Spanish once a week. I don't remember as much from highschool as I thought I did.
  6. Yes. The firefly/crapping butterfly is what the word has to do with.
  7. Google search comes up with EMIT. Also to high up the vocab chain.
  8. I don't care if we get it wrong, but I'm convinced it's a SHlT. And I want to hear what the teacher thinks it is. Right now I'm just trying to figure out what I'm missing. Aside from flit, I'm not seeing anything we haven't SPIT out.
  9. Lol quit is about where we are. Flit is probably it, but a little above the average San Diegan 6 year old vocab.
  10. They were all 3 letters. I jumped on LIT until my wife pointed out the other blank space. I'm drawing a blank and very interested in what the answer key says.
  11. That's all I can get. He's even grunting. Father in law says BAIT.
  12. So, fill in the blank style. We're learning to read and write. This one has us stumped. Whole page was 3 letter words except this one. Best answers so far....are not school friendly...or just don't make sense. Thoughts from the more intelligent folks?
  13. Don't worry, these guys are very used to hearing stupid questions, stupid answers, and dealing with stupid people....but enough about me. Welcome to the forum.
  14. Since we're in the topic, what are the restrictions with registering? I've been assuming that is what I'll do, but haven't really looked into it. Option 6 is take everything fishing New Years weekend and hope they don't all sink with the boat.
  15. Driver's licenses too? Maybe cars?
  16. Diapers. He finally got the 500 to kick over. Then this happened.......

    Grilling

It is a Traeger. It works great and does a fine job, but I would seriously consider some of the others unless you're getting a deal you can't pass up. I don't think the traeger gets as hot as some of them and there have been some issues with the controls, but I think they have resolved that in the newer ones. Guys like their green mountain grills and pellet pro has some nice options.

We did salt/pepper/garlic and onion powder, secret weapon, and death dust. 3 kinds. People loved the secret weapon. I I like the idea of a mix of the two....I'm trying that next time.

  20. What's the thought from an LE stand point? Would you like a duty gun that could only be fired by you? I'd be afraid of the malfunctions, but the way tech is going I would bet they could make a pretty reliable system. To me it seems like having to worry a little less about weapon retention could be a good thing. I don't want to see anything forced on anyone and I am in no way supporting guidelines (which don't really need to be there if they're only "suggestions"). Just curious what the guys that carry everyday and put themselves into dangerous situations regularly had thoughts on a smart weapon as a duty firearm.
  21. I'm still searching the manual for the fairly certain wild-assed guess of the more or less kinda sorta theoreticaly potential definition of "approximately almost".
  22. I don't "do the marijuana" though I'm around a lot of folks who do. Doesn't bother me a bit. It's the cry baby bastards that whine about the cigarette smoke then turn around and want to see weed legal anywhere. You still race, or just ride?
