It's a tragedy for someone and definitely someone's family ANY time someone is killed. I feel for his friends and family for their loss, but this whole movement seems to be going the wrong direction. I will admit that there are bad apples in every walk of life, but a single race isn't the only spot it happens....and you can't say every time a member of that race is killed by an officer that it was the only reason or even part of the reason it happened. As I somewhat sarcastically stated in the start of this thread, is this race simply untouchable now? The officer's judgement for lethal force needs to be based on the color of one's skin? Come on, be real.

so far the town cancelled a weekly car show yesterday, their weekly concert in the park tomorrow night, and I believe there is talk of cancelling an October fest this weekend over it...just to be on the safe side. Still the only violent act they're reporting is a guy wearing trump hat or shirt wandered into the protest and likely was antagonizing. It's a shame that businesses around the town and the community in general are suffering from the fear of childish retaliation from groups that will never understand what they're really doing. Almost any one of these folks as an individual would have likely pulled the trigger as well if they were placed in the officer's shoes. I would love to see some of them take part in a training simulation so they could get a feel for how quick a decision needs to be made. There is no time to weigh the options or see how things play out when you are faced with the possibility of not going home at the end of your day.

He was acting erratically and apparently very upset about his friend that died unexpectedly the other day.

Well, we had an unarmed 38 year old man of the certain shade that is no longer allowed to be shot by police(for any reason), shot and killed yesterday. So far there have been a few different groups of protesters, but most everything has been somewhat peaceful. Heard someone wandered in to the group and talked a little trash...he was looking for trouble and a handful of protesters delivered it to him. They stopped some traffic and were headed toward the freeway, but turned back when police told them to. My fingers are crossed that they can peacefully voice their frustration...wrong or not....and show other parts of the country how to handle it. In my opinion it looks like a clean enough shoot. I'll post a link. Without the violence, I'm not sure how much media this gets outside of town. We had problems with wild dogs eating calves here in SoCal too. Out buddy was losing a handful every year. Finally got most of em eradicated. Set up some game cameras next time you lay one out.

You are correct SS. A factory gun SHOULD work straight out of the box. You mention you've changed the trigger, is everything else stock? If so you're probably going to focus on the bolt catch. Either it is out of spec, or the mag you are using will not push the catch up far enough and may require some fitting as the OP did in the other thread. If you pull the bolt back and manually set the bolt catch, that functions,right?

What ammo are you feeding it and how many rounds have gone down the pipe? I think the round count is a good question. The other suggestions will be good, but break it in a bit and see where it goes. Stick with some heavier bullets (unless that's what you're already shooting), then go to the bolt catch or different mags. Sounds like the other thread the pmag wasn't allowing the the catch to go high enough to stop the bolt. Should be something similar with yours I would imagine.

Red Cross burned us here. Literally. We had a pretty big fire and Red Cross did a lot of fundraising specifically using the fire to gather money.
