Bought my wife's first Yukon that way. Had about 11k on the milage as a demonstrator. They cut a ton off the price and we got a smokin deal. The second one...not so much. Fully financed my 05 2500 Diesel- that was the rough one. Trying to buy a new house right now, but the wife's rig is going to need to be replaced. Need 4 or AWD and decent has milage as we're moving another 25 miles out of town. Gonna be tough.

So you stick to revolvers? Or just single shot break barrel?

My highest truck payment was 787 a month. I won't ever do that again. I'll buy my next new when I have cash. So, pretty much I'll never buy a new truck again.

What stock was on it? If something wasn't tight, the tube could have walked back enough to let it fly. When the bolt carrier went over it it shout up into it and went for a ride. Mine was straight up installed wrong. One shot, bang, ripped the tip off the retainer.

I did that with my very first AR I assembled back around 99/2000. Didn't have much of a help base back then and I was completely new to the platform. Mine happened on the very first shot, and then it clicked. That part got replaced, tube installed properly over. No problems since.

I was banging steel at about 400 with a 16" barrel and a 4x scope. I think a 16 would be just fine for most of your needs.

I like how the TAC keeps the buttstock in line with the action. This is solely a looks preference and it may be that the lower stock would actually be more functional...we need a side by side comparison test. Get Drew out here after you pick up your new stealth.

I don't know. I've been looking pretty hard at the TAC21 chassis like Drew built. The next bolt will bee a 300WIN in that chassis....unless something else pops up before then. I like the stealth, but just don't like the overall look for some reason.
