Yeah, I'm glad it wasn't a gun or we would have had Anaheim swat here. They were nice about it and all, they have a policy and I failed to follow. Still bummed though. I wonder which one of them will be taking it home? I highly doubt they "dispose" of them.

My options were walk it back to car/ hotel or give it to them and they would dispose of it for me. My car is at the hotel and its further than I cared to walk for $40. I think it's funny they don't offer to hold it at security. They can manage to track pictures of me from all over the park and sell them at any photo kiosk anywhere, but it would be too difficult to keep a knife. I'd pay a $20 fine for that....like I said, my dumb fault.

This guy doesn't do it perfectly, but makes the right argument. As bad as this video is, and the picture he used being wrong...I think this better makes our case.

I still say I think this video exposes a weakness. This video ironically feeds ammo to those who argue that detachable magazines are the problem. If they want to slow the active shooter, they need to do away with detachable mags. While trying to prove a point, we made an excellent video proving theirs. I think this is a poor tactic in protecting our rights.

You ever talk yourself into a corner and end up worse off than you were when you started? For most of us, the magazine change situation makes sense. I'm calling BS on the fact that you can shoot faster from 2 10 rounders than one 20, but I bet the times would be damn close. So close it wouldn't open an opportunity to stop a mad shooter. The problem is, non gun people don't get that. They are currently attacking magazine limits everywhere you look. Informing them of this situation is only going to make matters worse. Once they understand this, the next logical jump for them is to ban detachable magazines all together. Some states are already pushing this. By being so set on proving they are wrong, we will only make things harder on ourselves. This is not the approach to take. We can fight the magazine limit battle, but don't expose the soft spot on the belly of the beast.

All that, in just about 2 weeks. That is funny.

Update to that, it's all good. Customer service was hard to reach, but once I got em on the line they made it right and then some <thumbsup> I will order again from them.
