Stole this off another forum from a guy with a lot of good jokes. Drew and Robo are driving through Arizona when they get pulled over by a state trooper. The trooper walks up, taps on the window with his nightstick, the driver rolls down the window, and the trooper smacks! him in the head with the stick. Robo says, "Why'd you do that? The trooper says, "You're in Arizona, son. When I pull you over, you'll have your license ready." Robo says, "I'm sorry, officer, I'm not from around here." The trooper runs a check on the guy's license, and he's clean. He gives Robo his license back and walks around to the passenger side and taps on the window. Drew rolls his window down, and the trooper smacks! him with the nightstick. Drew says, "What the hell, why you do that to me?" The cop says,"Just making your wishes come true." Drew says, "Huh?" The cop says, "I know that two miles down the road you're gonna say,' I wish that "Mother F%^&*#" would have tried that sh*t with me.'"

Most states the tax on fuel is fixed. $2/gal or $5/gal the state was still getting their $0.30 or whatever. So if the average car used 100 gallons a month and now uses 80...you do the math. Well, up until an unfortunate incident at Disneyland last weekend, I was carrying my new CRKT M16-13Z desert camo 50/50. I've had a half dozen different vesrions of that knife and I have been pretty happy with it. I carried benchmades before and actually have that strapped in the pocket until I track down a replacement. It's old, and beat. I have an assisted BM Appariton limited that I decided was too thick to carry. Spyderco was my main love before the CRKT's. I've owned a dozen different Endura's-those were sweet. <thumbsup> In the market. Thanks for the thread, this is a great help for me right now.

I did hear that Washington is hunting for highway tax dollars everywhere they can. Vehicles have become more efficient and hence use less fuel. Less fuel means less tax dollars....damn, being green is costing the state money. So they were looking at an alternative tax for hybrids to...you know..."make em pay their fair share" <lmao>
