The mag lock and release take the place of the bolt catch. I don’t think I’ve ever looked hard at a BAD lever, but doesn’t it hook up in the bolt catch?

Gawd dammit....is the the new version of the Glock BBQ challenge? That got me in a lot of trouble last time. I’m saving for a friggin shotgun right now and that’s already turning into a pricey wishlist. If I do that and a 6mm....I don’t know if I’ll be able to pay @Robocop1051 for that 338....but I’ve probably got another year or so before that happens.

I don’t pay anywhere near enough attention. Downside to the Hellfighter is you replace the bolt catch. Bolt hold open is gonna be GONE. No mas. So in the case of the 9mm, LRBHO is a wasted feature.

Although....she could use a Larue rifle....

USPS got their head out of their ass and finally delivered enough parts to build a gun. It’s gonna be a Mikedaddy special for a few days though - no sights. I might pick some up at LGS tomorrow. Gonna go watch a video to see how this SLR handguard gets held on. Weird deal. I’m still really debating the BAD wood gear and a 9.5” HG. That’s 500 that can go towards my shotgun though....so it’s a tough call.

Is that stock a little wobbly? The one I have on Dylan’s rifle has a lot of play in it. Haven’t got to test my new one yet...it ain’t here. Was supposed to be today, but nowhere to be found. USPS says “ it left the facility and will arrive late”. That’s helpful. My Aero trigger left the San Diego facility on Friday at 7:07am and was out for delivery. Haven’t seen it yet either.

I’ve bought two of the BCM blem uppers and couldn’t tell you what the blem was. Just as good or better than others I’ve held.

Thanks. My dad has a bow I might borrow. He hasn’t used it for a few years. Dusty has been wanting one for herself anyways, so getting a couple may not be a bad deal. We have a great shop in town with an owner who is truly dedicated to getting everyone of his customers set up and running right, so we’ll have to pay him a visit soon.

You know what I don’t have though....is a bow. Aw shucks. Guess I’m gonna have to go shopping.

I have not gone out on a deer hunt in a loooong damn time. Gonna change that this year. Got 2 tags for our county and was lucky on the draw. One is an either sex archery (which means I might get to eat one of our yard deer) and the other is just a regular D16. Hopefully between either of those hunts I’ll be able to track something down. Pickings are slim in San Diego.
