  1. I have some Nikons in all shapes & sizes , not your particular magnification , but I like their Scopes . The Prostaffs have a couple different levels , I have & used many BuckMasters , not the new BuckMasters II & they all are great scopes . I have only sent one ( not mine ) Nikon back a 12 year old one that was fogging up in certain temps. & they sent a Prostaff 7 back to replace it ,( because they no longer made the one I sent in ) no charge .
  2. I'm no metallurgist , but its no wonder the Brass case is relaxing or hardening , I wouldn't use this Case as a rule for any normal made Cartridge brass , it may well describe what happens to a case formed to those tolerances . Just look at the case & how its necked down . Brass is funny stuff & sometimes , like all metals, has reacts to being stretched or manipulated . You can't compare this specially formed , wildcat cartridge to any normal cartridges that are not subjected to this treatment . Not taking away from his world record , he's a good shooter & made a good cartridge & Rifle , for that specific match , but it doesn't relate to normal reloading . Like I said , too many variables to compare this cartridge to any I use & no real scientific data . The Annealing of the worked Brass Case is what will allow the Brass around the Neck area to soften up from its firing case hardening & this is what lets the sized case Neck to conform to the Sizing procedure for proper neck tension , with out Annealing the case Neck will spring back instead of conforming to proper Sizing Spec's . There are many articles about this everywhere from many sources , including world record holders & long range shooters . JMO
  3. Don't think they have any for Pistols with Lights , but you can look . Holsters for lights are far & few , but they are a custom maker , who knows . https://www.theholsterstore.net
  4. There are far too many variables to why he got the results he got. What is a 22 Dasher , how is the case formed/made , how many times were they reloaded was it Annealed before forming ? That use of a Dial indicator for pressure measurement is wishful thinking , no way is it the proper tool for this type of measurement , not scientific results . As far as your pulling of Bullets , the same can be said about the Variables , Brass make , how many times reloaded & not Annealed , The Bullet also , all manufacturers bullets are not made the same , just too many things contribute to any of these conditions .
  5. The break in is more for the Barrel , there are break in procedures that are used by some , according to the Barrel manufacturers . As far as the Rifle itself ,if your rifle is functioning , its broken in Of course the components will wear in more with a higher round count .
  6. Carried the Sig P320C today for the first time , The new IWB Holster is great , it will take some breaking in , the ambidextrous slide release on the P320C catches on the Leather & stops the Pistol a hair short of fully seated in the Holster , I have to lift the Leather on the one side to get the pistol too seat , but the Pistol draws nicely from it . Pistol defiantly has a different feel with the double stacked Mag in there , I'm used to carrying single stack Pistols . Ran with the Dogs , no issue with the Pistol loosing its position in the Holster & I started to get used to the little extra bulge in my waistline , that or my Shorts stretched out . I also found that my M11-A1 fits nicely in this same Holster , from the Holster Store .
  7. Brass hardens with working it , Loading , firing & then resizing it , its why I Anneal all my Rifle Brass every other reloading . I used to Anneal after every shooting , but found it wasn't necessary , the Bullet tension was still very good , that & I'm not a Match or long range shooter . All the other things you have a concern with , IMO has no bearing on the brass case , as far as I know , because I have brass in many forms of the reloading process , sometimes for months & see no difference in processing the Brass , but nothing scientific .
  8. I would like to see some Chono. results if you have one .
  9. +1 The hate of POTUS Trump has been bred by the MSM & this whole thing is the product . Oh , he hurt their feelings because he called the inconsiderate SOB's , SOB's . This whole thing has nothing to do with Football , it just happened to be the latest platform for the Hate of POTUS Trump & America. These a$$holes just happen to be the fastest pawns for the Commie Left .
  10. Same here , I have a 20"HB Rifle with all their parts , except for the DPMS Lower Receiver , my first 308AR Build & its a great rifle & shooter .
  11. Depends on the Bullet design, some may or may not use the Ogive for seating , it may be a long nosed bullet & bottom out in the Seating plug & if you may need to trim them to get uniform seating , like the tools below & there are many more . http://www.bullettipping.com
  12. Makes you wonder why , well we don't , we know why its not covered . http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/09/27/all-guns-in-antioch-church-shooting-acquired-via-background-checks/
  13. Kroil is great stuff , but I would use a different Lubricant for break in . I use CLP & others here use Mobil 1 10-30 syn motor oil , there are many Weapons type lubricants out there, both should work & don't be shy with it , try to keep it out of the Chamber & off the Bolt Face . As said above , Measure the Length & Coil count of the Buffer Spring . We just had an issue with a Buffer Spring with thicker Spring Material , that caused issues , the owner changed to a DPMS Buffer Spring with normal Spring diameter & it corrected the issue .
  14. Valerian and the City of a thousand Planets , watched it twice . That was an intense movie .
  15. Did you weigh the Bullet after trimming some of it off ? Looks a little long on the COL.
  16. Sounds like fun !
  17. I don't go to the Germ factory's ! I liked ," Passengers" ," Life " , " The Accountant " , Space Between us " , Antimatter" & thats just a start , Hurricanes give you time to watch the Tube while you have Internet .
  18. Forster 6mmx45 bunch rest Seating Die on order , we will see how this works out & more 90 gr. SGK Bullets .
  19. I'm into SiFi mostly , & have watched part of Dunkirk , but it was kind of a strange movie . I get to see the movies that are in theaters now & I'm not going to say how . I have seen quite a few good SiFi movies lately, some independent . I started to watch the Kingman one , but they were speaking in Russian & that turned me off , not to mention the BS shoot um up chase in the beginning . I'll have to find it in english
  20. Now that last one is a good one ! Screw the NFL & all the players , that don't honor the Country & Flag ! You do know that these idiots went to the same colleges as the other Libfuks!
  21. Now thats, good to hear . I'm always Leary about $ 100 scopes .
  22. I used to carry a 1911 , then a PPK/S , then I picked up a Kahr PM 45 & carried it till I got my M&P Shield. The Shield is an easy carry gun , light , slim , but the Trigger sux & with out a extended slide Guard , the rear Sight kinda digs into my not so slim Belly . My out look now a days is , I need more ammo in the weapon before I need a Mag change , the PM 45 has six rounds with one in the Chamber & I carry an extra five round mag in a pouch on the inside IWB Holster , the 9mm Shield has Nine rounds with one in the Chamber & I want to , but don't have a extra mag carrier for it , but have looked . I used to carry the extra Mag in my Pocket , but it gets in the way . I now want to carry a larger capacity firearm , I purchased a SIG P320 compact , has a 15 rd. mag & with one in the Chamber makes 16 rds. thats almost twice as many as the Shield , but much larger . Not an issue with concealment with the type of shirts I wear .The P320 with the drop fire possibility will not be carried until the Upgrade is done , but I also purchased a Sig M11-A1 Compact & just found out last night that the M11 fits perfectly into the new IWB holster for the P320C. I no longer believe that the old stat's of 2-3 rounds average , for a fire fight are up to date with todays world , now I believe more is better , so I have made adjustments to my carry weapons . One can still say the 45 acp is all I need & it may be true to some extent , but I see the need for more capacity , because of the possible threat changes now a days , just look at the shootings that are going on & its quite clear to me , so going to a high capacity firearm , like a Glock , makes sense to me now . I will be putting in major time with my Sigs , mostly the M11 until my P320 comes back.
  23. Here is the Lee Seating Die disassembled & its a decent idea to have the Seater plug floating , I believe there should be a Guide for it , at least to a certain extent , because it just flops around inside the Top adjuster . Look how much play is in the Seater Plug in the Adjuster & the Die Body, there is no guide for the Plug . Seater Plug in the Die Body assembled with the Adjuster
  24. The Front of the Bullet shows out the front when Chambered
