I can only repeat what the wife says We were smart enough to not play in the street & block traffic ! Where I grew up there were parks that people did things like baseball , flag football & such , I guess the innershity doesn't have such things .
-
What capacity ? Just curious . I have a couple 10's I haven't tried yet , but all my other 10's & 20 rounders work fine . Kinda crazy , but then I think about all the stuff posted here on what works & what doesn't & it doesn't surprise me.
-
When growing up , they would have yelled at us & threatened us with arrest if they had to come back & I didn't turn out so bad .

I would look at the laws & regulations as they are printed now , they will define what is to be used in hunting , making a semi auto in to single shot , does not make it a Bolt action or a Lever action , as defined by the make up of the firearm . This is all thats printed in their General Regulations . Lawful Arms & Ammunition Deer and Bear, Regular Seasons • Manually operated (pump, lever, bolt actions, single-shot) center fire rifles, shotguns (shotguns do not have to be plugged when hunting deer, bears or elk) and handguns (revolvers or single-shots) with all-lead bullet or ball, or bullet designed to expand on impact; I would say that any rifle not capable mechanically to fire semi auto , would fall under the Single shot Rifle category . Of corse you might be the first one to test this , with your rife , I'm no lawyer , but I would think it would hold up in court , if thats the way you want to go . If the rifle is set up to work as a singe shot & unable to fire semi auto ,with out adding components or changing components , its a single shot rifle . It doesn't say anything about magazine fed & a lot of Bolt Guns are Mag fed , so I see no issue there. You would just have to make sure that whatever you did would satisfy anyone that the rifles function is anything other or capable off, a single shot rifle . Also , why hasn't anyone thought of this & have used an AR 308 , converted to Single Shot Rifle to Hunt with there ? If they have , because the 308AR has been around now for quit a while , why hasn't anyone heard of it , or have they kept a good secret ? OR OR . your the first that wants to buck the status quo & be the first to test these muddy waters ?

Well they shouldn't of taken a Knife to a gun fight ! On another note , what would they have said if they had killed the home owner , with a Knife & Brass Knuckles & got caught ? They were just trying to get $$ for collage , they were good kids ! They didn't deserve to die ? Well maybe they should have thought about that before they planed to assault anyone who was home at the time . You think they had the knife & Brass knuckles for jewelry , they had them for intimidation in case someone was home ! There was a reason why they picked that house , they knew something was there & were going to get it one way or the other . It wasn't picked out random , they will not say what they were looking for in the news , as to not give other dead beats a reason to come back , with more fire power . These idiots made their choice & knew the potential consequences ! -
Buffer/receiver extension compatibility?

Too many issues with PSA components not working with other manufactures Components , seems Tolerance stacking because they seem to be Proprietary . PSA Upper & Lowers seem to work with each other , now they have a second Generation that just came out , just to muddy the waters even more , so its a toss up . If you know someone who has a DPMS Upper , try it as a complete Upper Receiver assembly & see how that works out . Also The 80% Receivers could be the issue also , for the same Proprietary reasoning . -
Much less expensive to have two Gas Blocks , but as far as ease of going from a single shot to a semi auto , having another set up Upper, would be the easiest . I'm just interested to see what Pa. has to say about it , because when I hunted there ( Non-Resident ) the Game wardens were Pricks , could have been because I was a non resident , but they were bad , even the residents were pissed at them , you didn't want to see one & I mostly hunted in State Game lands around the camp I was at . Archery was not an issue , but any firearm type hunting was & that included Turkey Hunting , in which I got sited for not having the proper orange on when going to my next set up , my Back Pak was sightly covering up some . I never went back to PA hunting after that . That was about fifteen years ago , I'm sure it has changed
-
I would be more inclined to eliminate all Propellant gases from entering the receiver . Remove the Gas Tube & have an Adj. gas Block ,t hat actually cuts the Gas signal completely , accomplishes two things , makes the rifle incapable of semi auto firing & keeps the Receivers , BCG , FCG , clean . All this is of course on what the PDNR says or writes for a regulation (s)
-
This is interesting , two very good Manufacturers , but it is April fools day !
-
I agree as with the above ,as long as PA DNR is ok with it . I think they will have types rifles or features or a rifle , much like the Assault rifle ban, that would make your rifle unusable as a legal rifle for Hunting use , but you have to take or contact them, to be sure of what , if anything , can be done to use it .

At least he was smart enough not have that POS firearm , loaded , up his A$$ , they don't have a good record of safety . I can see it , "sit down over there "upon sitting , the pistol fires off , death from stupidity !
-
I have an Anaconda & a King Cobra , always wanted to get another Python , but they are way over priced & there is not a 357 mag made worth that much , I will live with out one for sure .

Had me rolling

Colt must be crazy or it is just greed of getting such a good loan from a State that they can't sell their must popular products in . I can tell you , I will probably never buy another Colt . They don't seem to mind reverse logic of this deal . Maybe I can't see it , I'm not sure what to think about it , to be honest . http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/03/28/ct-gov-using-financial-aid-to-help-colt-signed-ban-on-their-rifles-magazines/

The Liberals spin, " the poor intruders were only looking for another house & broke in by accident & were assaulted & murdered by the evil black rifle in the hands of a racist Trump supporter ". -
I like them tight , much better than loose . Put he Barrel in the Freezer & the leave the Upper at room temp & it should go in . A very light coating of Grease might help also. I usually just tap the Barrel In with a Rubber mallet , but the cold barrel & warmed up Receiver , it should slip right in .
-
This is from Criterion , I got an Email from them with this from their sight , wasn't sure to put it here of in General , but it shows some Bore comparisons & actual group differences between these two Barrels , I find it interesting . As you know I'm partial to Criterion Barrels . http://criterionbarrels.com/media/criterion-barrels-vs-cold-hammer-forged-video
-
Them bastiges like to hide , I remember looking for one for hours , then one day, weeks or months later I came across it looking for something else that few away .
-
If alignment Pin is bottoming out before the Barrels Extension Flange Seats , probably Torquing it down will not help , only deepening that slot will get the Barrel where it needs to be .> I would let Aero take care of it , Call , email with photos , I don't see them having an issue with repairing or replacing . Your call .
-
Cycling by hand may not reproduce the issue , spent case may also be sticking in the Chamber too long & slowing down the Cycle ( Timing ) You should also check the Chamber for roughness .
-
That always happens when you start working on a big bore
-
Finally got a replacement shipped to me & so far its working OK , Look how long it took , a$$#$%$#&*
-
Good points
