Some use the tight as you can get it by hand then use wrench to tighten to next hole that lines up method .....probably as good as any

My LR 6.5 is crazy accurate with about everything I've shot through it....copy the recipe on the factory 140 Amax loads and its shoots 1/2 MOA with Amax, 139 Norma's and Lapua Scenar's....even shoots light bullets well,. 95 gr Vmax and 108 gr Scenar's are well under 1 MOA...read that the Creedmoor is easier on brass and you get comparable velocities with less powder compared to 260..don't know that from experience though..could be hearsay ...with a PRS Magpul and an Osprey 6-24 x 50 scope its a heavy beast.but I guess that's the price you pay....not gonna tote it around hunting squirrels anyhow....

You can have the barrel fluted to knock some weight out of it..if it becomes an issue with you.....brother had his done and it made a noticeable difference..easily a pound off..then he hung a Benny Cooley off the end of it ....that's a chunk of steel but it works great....my 6.5 Creedmoor barrel is at the shop right now getting flutes.should have it back after NewYears....

The SASS is a bull barrel that's fluted....not cosmetic fluting..deep fluted to take extra weight out and for cooling....Wouldn't dismiss it over the gas block issue.....DPMS didn't make the barrel huge under the handguard just to sell you a proprietary gas block

I see them hawking it at Harrisburg gunshow this weekend...got there really late so didn't feel I had time look at it or listen to their sales pitch ....remember the name though and thinking at the time it should be called "Frog Spit".......y'know the saying.."slicker 'n frog spit"....

Anyone know who all is producing 300 blackout marked lowers??? I'm gonna talk to our pistol permit clerk to see if it's just a straight up registration like a handgun for an AR lower or if we hafta jump a couple hoops to do it...pistol barrel would be a nice companion for the carbine...

Kershaw Blackout folder..Ken Onion design...incredible Sandvik steel blade...bought a few to replace it over the years, thinner, lighter models but this one keeps going back in my pocket...

I love the big handcannons.....45-70, 444 Marlin, 375 Winchester all in TC Contender barrels...and my favorite ..a Gary Reeder Custom Contender in 350 GNR .....They all make shooting my Super Blackhawk Hunter like plinking with a .22 ...The only " Big" rifle in the cabinet is a 7mm Ultra Mag that's pretty abusive with 175 gr. Partitions......guy I bought from said he'd been talked into buying it at a local shop as The Ultimate Varmint Rifle...after 1 box of ammo he realized his mistake...

Didn't take her long to fall in lockstep with rest of the weenies in NY....she was appointed by the last governor and I'll bet she was schooled real quick about what to support and not support if she wanted to keep her seat in the next election...too bad,cuz she showed promise at first...Chuck has her ear for sure
