Hi Easy look up above at the dyno sheet 5 grand for the hp but look at the torque 910ft lbs at 4 grand considering theres 2 of em as soon as he rebuilds the first motor....it ought to pull your eyeballs out. the Motors he let freeze up did 104mph on carbs on his gps Ive been in it once....and that was it for me.....this thing is flat azz dangerous...since its a tunnel type hull it wont turn for crap...it just skips across the water in a turn....catch a chine in a turn and its bye bye his boat is an old Chris Craft.....they called em Chris Cats....a company down in south Texas bought the molds and they still make em...although they redid the bottom :) Wash

98Z and Shepp Thats what I would do too.....but he's running pump gas...not race fuel he's got chillers under the blower,but i dont know if they are running water to the the chillers on the dyno...though they should My lil 502" chevies back in the 80's made a lil over a 1000hp with 40% overdrive on race gas ....but at the end of the season we would have a trashcan filled up with burnt pistons from the three motors....but that was full out racing...not lake boating Wash

Well Guys No cooked motor yesterday...Lil Bro called me and reported in....motor #2 only produced 900hp and 850 torque at 8lbs of boost....far short of the 1200hp he was telling me it would make <laughs> The engine builder is so freaked out from burning down the first one he wont let the big dog loose. I feel sorry for him cause he's been dealing with Bro for too long on this project..... and ive got Bro calling me every hour and asking me where all the extra horses are? Funny thing is Bro uses this boat to pick up gals at the lake...even when he was married...hmmmmm wonder why she divorced him?....theres a place called party cove where everyone ties up their boats together...and you guessed it...they party....ive been there and its a sight to be seen...all the gals are topless.. botomless....lizbo action out in public..you name it :)) So heres the rub.....party cove ends on Labor Day....and he doesnt have his ride together even though he started the project in early spring....maybe by Christmas? :'( ^-^ Wash

My Lil Bro.....who is yet to grow up...let his two 575 inch carbed boat motors freeze up this winter cause he thought his ol lady would get em in the divorce....which she didnt...bwahahaha ...but she got everything else!...has now built 2 575inch 1071 blown motors....one of which burnt up on the dyno last week....today is the number 2 motor's time to go..... <lmao> Wash

Hi Nail freefloat equals accuracy and holding zero.....just do it...lol I use magpul acs stocks on all my rifles.....they are more substantial than a moe and man do they lock down...no wiggle no movement nada! :) Wash

Pwerman I use this...its cheap and works http://www.segwayreticleleveler.com/ put your rifle in a cradle...put a small level on the top of the rail to make sure its level in the cradle...then use the segway.....always use the fat torque screwdriver from Wheeler to tighten down the screws in the proper inch pounds.......ive never had a problem on any of my scopes getting loosened.....you jut cant use feel on screwing down the scope you should always use the fat inch pound screwdriver...one other thing..you need to have the rifle in a cradle and have the rifle level in it first....a canted scope is no bueno :) Wash

Imschur is correct .....sass gas blocks are different dimensions.....I had a super sass barrel and had to get the sass gas block for it jse had them for like 20 bills . Its the height of where the gas hole is for the gas tube. you may have a torque (bend) issue if you use a regular gas block on a sass barrel....hmmm maybe length too :) Wash also dpms had a bad run of mags a while back
