And to think that the ar-15 beta mag was expensive to use ! $0.35 to $0.45 per round now your going to tease us with 308 rounds at $0.55 to $1 each. The 75 round SR25 mag at $225 would cost $50 to fill up the ,new setup cost even more !Going to pass on the Beta C 308 mag too much weight. Great toy for mag dumps but thats a alot of weight to be carring in the field.

I also use Unique ,stuff is great have done over 8000 rifle rounds with it and there is still about an ounce left. If you are lubing the inside of the case you MUST CLEAN THE LUBE OFF BEFORE LOADING POWDER IN THE CASE !!!!!If powder attaches itself to the lube it will be unburned and can be expleded into the barrel, if setting in the barrel the next round fired will cause a double explosion. This is known as SEE and is very very bad ! So please just run those cases through the tumbler after sizing with lube inside the neck area. This is a saftey issue. Just a heads up !

Welcome, nice gun <thumbsup> My DPMS eats all the ammo weights but does not like soft point bullets, tears and deforms the points. Polymere tips work fine as do FMJ's and HP's.

Pretty sure they are one of the component manufactures for DPMS.

....only experience with bullets coming unglued was with Hornady XTP pistol bullets...180 and 200 gr were shedding jackets like a stripper.... I had a problem with Berry's plated bullets and HS-6 out of a 10mm with hot loads, over powered the thin jackets. I made a batch of 68gr Hornady Match 223 rounds today for my 1-7" twist rounds today and will do a batch of 75gr Hornady Macth this weekend, both are BTHP versions. Those are pretty accurate are under $20 a box for 100. <thumbsup> Who wouldn't want a 4000+ fps bullet ! :)

Those uppers are great even have a flag on them, used 7 of them on my AR's. <thumbsup>

I have a Quentin upper 16" its great at 200 yards. The 24" barrels were made McGowen blanks and chambered by my Gunsmith, He is the best barrel guy in AZ, 90% of his work is done on bolt action rifles for high end manufactures. On the 6.8spc round most use 110gr bullets. The 115gr and 120gr bullets are more accurate.

If the buttsock SAYS mil spec get a milspec buffer tube. If it SAYS commercial get a commercial buffer tube. Cant help with the hydraulic buffer I dont use them.

You can always pick up a gas tube roll pin at an Ace Hardware its size is( 5/64" x 5/8") bull barrel or (5/64" X 1/2") Low profile , they are $0.29 each.

Its finished, gas block installed ! I still need to put a little aluminum black to touch up a few nicks on the finish.
