  1. Kids, they're so silly.
  2. =D
  3. You missed a good one.
  4. Just spoke with the FHP. The guy was riding a 2006 Yamaha and left over 400 feet of skid marks before he left the road. They estimate his speed was well into triple digits. They needed property damage information for the report.
  5. I live on a curvy road in the boondocks and it's a favorite road for kids speeding on motorcycles. Saturday night about 10pm we heard a lone cycle hauling azz towards us then suddenly, nothing. The rider had left the road hitting our fence shearing off two 6x6 and two 4x4 pressure treated posts. Our neighbor was the first to get there and call 911. The bike landed in the field across the street and the rider landed in our neighbor's pasture. Unfortunately, his severed leg landed in the middle of the street. He was still conscious and trying to talk and get up. Emergency vehicles arrived including a helicopter that landed in the middle of the street. They worked on him for quite some time then medi-lifted him out on the helicopter. He died on the scene. One or two motorcyclists die every year on our scenic back road. This one was in our front yard though. God bless his family.
  6. Best Super Bowl I've seen in a lot of years.
  7. The Pats are up by 7. That ball's definitely deflated.
  8. ^ oh schit!
  9. the Seiko 5, as cheap as it is, is one of the toughest watch movements existant. It can be had in many different watch styles for under $300. No batteries either. I like this one.
  10. Brother Jacob lengthened my sling for me. Thank you. It's back on my SIG PM400 where it belongs.
  11. Welcome from Florida.
  12. That'd go perfectly with Pinky.
  13. Welcome from Florida
  14. M2, being true to human nature doesn't turn you into Nazis. Why does everything lead around to annihilation with you?
  15. I ain't no officer, I'm a working man.
  16. If I'd known I'd get the clap I'd have taken my duck tape someplace else.
  17. Yeah, it appears I'm subordinate.
  18. Great report, and not too loquacious. Thanks
  19. Now Frank Zappa singing "why does it hurt when I pee" keeps running through my head.
  20. I had the clap once.
  21. Having fun, success.
  22. I generally just leave the spiders alone. If they're alive they must be eating something that I like a whole lot less than them, but if one of those big bastards insists on invading my personal space (like the shower or above the bed) I find a good stiff flyswatter is the weapon of choice.
  23. Yep. Also, Utopian societal experiments always fail. It's not the way humanity works. We are wired to form clans and a pecking order, it provides us strength challenges us to achieve more. The reason kids join in universally is because it's natural.
  24. I've shot a couple of spiders but they just run off. But these are the big wolf spiders we get down here in Florida.
