  1. Cant seem to get this thing feeling right. I think im a liitle too slim for it. Probably going to try and trade it off for a belt setup.
  2. Holy crap!!!
  3. Back off. This isnt a "guess what % of whore meat is in this Vancouver pork" contest.
  4. Hmmmm...wonder if its the velocity guys machining out his designs for him.
  5. Bunch of outdoor stuff. Some cool knives. Rations. Those okc knives are in there. Worth a look. http://sellout.woot.com/?ref=ft_tn_so_11
  6. Unfortunately, my situation does NOT allow lol. I can say I played this particular "market" pretty well, allowing me to build some nice toys on a small budget.
  7. So selfish...just when you think you know a guy....
  8. I like the trend. Just built a 5.56 gun for a buddy under $500 with a PSA Holliday deal build kit and a local Anderson lower. Strange to think we can thank the libs and socialists for this shining example of capitalism. They drove demand through the roof when they attempted to ban everything. Capitalism took over to fill that demand and ended up saturating the market. Balance will be restored but take advantage while you can. This rollercoaster since 2012 will be gunny lore. theres no way I would have the nice hardware I have if I hadnt of played that game just right.

    AR Trigger

Thought about it, but tom didnt, and I had relevant updates to my RRA experience.

    AR Trigger

Had an old style rra. The top of the hammer would bind on the carrier. It ended up turning into a cruddy single stage. RRA took it back and replaced it with a newer NM trigger. It wouldnt Work in my FAR 308, or two of my 5.56 lowers. They said it might be interference with non spec selector levers but u could send it back. I removed the selectors from all 3 lowers. Still didnt Work in the 308. (wouldnt release hammer) and worked with about a 20lb trigger pull in the 5.56 lowers. 3Rd trigger showed up. Still doesnt Work in the 308. I think the tail is too fat, or the front is hitting the pocket. It does Work in the 5.56 lower, but feels the exact same as my milspec trigger. It said 2 stage on the bag...but there is no "shelf" to indicate a second stage like other 2 stages ive used (to include the original first gen RRA). i dont really care at this point. I left it in one of the 5.56 guns and maybe something will change after some use. Either way, im not sending it back, or ever trying another one. Not worth the irritation. Others have been happy with them.
  11. Fixed it for ya.
  12. For the record, I think I was the first vote for keeping you around. With that said...for someone whose time is too valuable to assemble an 308AR from parts, you sure make some long winded posts! My vote hasnt changed though. You have contributed to my life, and I appreciate that. If it wasnt for this shenanigans, I wouldnt have known about whorebacon.
  13. Michael Jackson has gone through several bags of popcorn.
  14. tool....sometimes they have whole categories at 30% off. it's bad news lol. I check the deal of the day at midnight every day. if it's a really good one they are gone in a few minutes. the other day was brand new gortex bivy bags for sleeping bags for $25. those things are amazing. we moved too much for tents, so it was usually openn sky and a bivy bag in any weather. never an issue.
  15. sokay. I peek at your facebook now and then to make sure you are alive. :D
  16. I was expecting some joke along the lines of "it has to be big enough to fit a rangers ego" :D
  17. it was on a surplus site. unclesamsretailoutlet.com I had a nice coupon, and it's free shipping over $100, so I grabbed it to push me over lol. that free shipping gimmick gets me every time!

  19. calling tom...ranger stuff here. got a good deal on a Eagle H harness. it's the real deal RLCS one the rangers were getting for a while. I never had any high speed stuff like this when I was in. question, where does the belt/waist part sit? does it sit low at the hips like a normal belt? or up above?
