I'm not suggesting its a good idea, just sharing experience.....but my first build was with DPMS factory parts and it was so tight I had to tap the carrier in with a mallet. it loosened up eventually, but I suspected the cam pin hole in the bolt was slightly out of spec.

I can appreciate your excitement. there was a time when I was well known as "wheel whore" but my obsession was for rare Japanese racing wheels. had twice as many sets of wheels as I had cars to put them on. my 15x9 flipped/polished epsilons were legend in some circles.

looks awesome beach! about how much cord is in there? also, while the twin buckles might not be necessary, I like having them. I don't like to cut my slings, and it lets me store the extra without tape or straps.

suggestion...use a real chainsaw with no blade. my buddy did that at a Halloween party a few years ago. it was hilarious...but my house smelled like gas for days.

if a civilian causes the escalation that forces them to defend themselves with deadly force, they can be held accountable. that's where this is going to be interesting. as I said a page or so ago, once the knives came out it was game over. the question will be did it need to get to that point. I havnt seen it, but people keep referencing a video that shows one of the cops involved saying something like "I'm gonna shoot that bum in the Dick with my shotgun". if that's legit, it might do some damage. either way, popcorn is on standby.

mega should be old/high DPMS so the ar10 rail should be right. the new/low DPMS would use a regular Ar15 height. the shorter barrel will already be relatively "stiffer" than a longer barrel of the same diameter. might as well save some weight and go with the .75

an adjustable can only turn down the gas. that long gas system will most likely not be over gassed, so you probably wouldn't have any need for an adjustable.

it sucks 100%, and they seem to have zero inventory tracking ability, but they do get some smokin closeout deals. I strike fast, or not at all when I get the email alert. never order anything from the normal website because its probably out of stock.

did you order during the recent streamlight clearance? I grabbed 2. one showed up, the other didn't. I paid with Paypal though and they canceled the transaction. I've been buying from them long enough to know its a 50/50 so I never order anything expensive, and I never get excited about a deal until it hits my mailbox.

762 mags only came in black. 5.56 gen 2 mags came in colors, but I'm pretty sure the gen 3s are all black and they stopped making the gen2 straight body 20s in favor of the curved gen3 20s.
