I thought the book was horribly written. had to force my way through it. had a friend just give it back to me half way through. the stories were cool, but he should have paid someone to write it. I am excited to see the movie though. the Kyles and Lutrells out there deserve a hell of a lot more recognition than we shower on useless musicians and actors.

bought some new shoes for work! 5.11 tactical trainers. kind of a big deal for me. my last new shoes was some Bates boots in 08. finally blew out the stitching after 5 years and swapped to some NB x-trainers I bought around 03. they hadn't been used much at the time but they finally disintegrated off my feet. I still have a pair of doc martens I bought in 94. (wore them to the range day lol) I don't do much shopping for clothing!

I'm not going to enter since I know I won't put it through its paces like some of these other guys will, but I'm curious if this design has less cord in it? I think it still looks good.

have a fresh unmolested VTAC sling here. thought id post some measurements in case you get the itch to improve it :) nylon section from the adjustment lever to the front of the gun about 35" with an extreme 5" of tail. rear section is about 46" total. 20" of padding. 10" of strap to the adjustment buckle. 16" back to the stock.

if anyone wants to know what shooting this thing feels like, just stand behind an ill tempered horse and whack him in the balls with a stick. should be pretty similar.

? don't think it will fit on a carbine extension. its designed to fit a tube with a max OD of 1.2". as you go smaller you may need tape or something to keep it from sliding. I lubed mine up like a first time porn star and rammed it onto a 1.25" damage industries tube. its rock solid but might never come off again.

lol...I read it. that's what I mean though. as silly as the letter is......his modified "low ready" carry should be no different than shouldering as far as classification is concerned. you can assume what you want about intent. it may be blatantly obvious. can you prove it? its funny, but it also shows how they are going to have a HARD time (zing ) BEATING (zing) the sig brace without opening themselves to some legal challenges.
