there's a couple factory 308 16" barrels. Fulton even makes one with rifle length gas system. no need to spend money chopping one unless you already have it. I would never spend that much on a kac muzzle device, even if I could afford it. I like nice stuff, but those are just a little silly. just make sure you get the right size for a .30 cal.

there are plenty of barrels in different configurations that work fine, and 308s are well gassed, so I doubt opening up a gas port will be necessary. also, the BCG moves the same distance regardless of buffer setup. you loose some weight with the carbine setup but you can get it back with a heavy buffer.

I shot some steel just to make sure I could in my Rainier barrel. would probably buy some for shooting cans if I found it super cheap. if the manufacturers says no I wouldn't touch it though.

selling a viridian C5L. this is a compact gen 2 weapon light with green laser. comes with 3 sets of mounting "arms" to fit most railed pistols. very powerful unit. my buddy is a gear queer and went out paid full retail on these for a bunch of his guns. some YouTube trainer then convinced him red lasers we're better for various reasons and he replaced them all. benefit from his idiocy. 215 shipped
