  3. or a 2" group at 800.... too soon?
  4. hey SS, it works without the selector installed in all the lowers. planned on trying it in a factory colt today just to narrow it down a little more, but got preoccupied.
  5. there's another thing the libs probably want banned.
  6. that's what I meant. LE has always been aware of the potential of threats wearing armor, but the lib lawmakers never even thought about it until they saw it plastered all over the news. "omg, I didn't know people were allowed to own that! we need a law!"
  7. Bundy ranch still has them spooked.
  8. thanks man! might try that. ill drop it in the colt first just to check. unless I'm at the hospital. just did a false alarm/ practice run getting the car packed for baby time. might be a long night.
  9. it's doing it in all the lowers I tried. didn't want to pull the Timney out of my mega lower because it's a pain. no screws protruding into the cavity in any of them. I installed the selector with no pin/spring and rotated it 360 while tugging on the trigger in the 308 and the 556 lower. the tail just seems a hair too thick and it's not letting the sear slip. I installed it without hammer or trigger springs just to see, and same thing so it's not that. seems like it would have to be an out of spec trigger, or several out of spec lowers/selectors.
  10. no screws, and I made sure the grip screw isn't interfering. it's really close. I feel like if I scraped a hair off of the trigger tail it would be fine, but I don't want to do that. probably take it over to my father in laws house tomorrow and drop it in one of his old colts. that's about as milspec as it gets. if it doesn't run in a factory gun I guess ill email RRA again. the 308 ran fine with the old RRA trigger I sent back, and a Timney.
  11. finally sent my old sloppy 6 year old RRA 2 stage in. they just sent me a brand new NM trigger without any questions or fuss, so that was swell. first tried to install in in my 308, and it wouldn't release the hammer. could barely even get the dico to catch. dropped it in a 556 lower, and similar results. disco would catch easy, but wouldn't drop the hammer. dropped it in a different 556 lower. this one will drop the hammer, but not consistantly, and only after about 15lbs. narrowed it down to the tail hitting the bottom of the selector. trigger runs fine in all three lowers with the selectors removed. pretty sure all three selectors are from different places (DPMS, PSA, DTI if memory serves) id like to try it in a factory lower before I lay blame though. anyone seen this before?
  12. hey tom, would you like a Harley better in FDE?
  13. I like the bike in the op. my uncle has an old CBR buried in a garage id like to café out some day. my buddy owns a custom shop here in Tucson. they put out some nasty bikes and cars. don't have a pic of his new bike, but it's a death trap lol. exposed chain, no front brake, suicide shift. here's his last bike.
  14. shib can take a day off as soon as he gets our lowers finished.... :)
  15. the PRIDE RIDE. for a minute I thought this was going to be about a glittery rainbow float in a San Francisco parade.
  16. it's not about how much you pay, it's about who you pay. keep the money in friendly pockets.
  17. if he used a .45 the target would have exploded in a mushroom cloud. discuss...
  18. a member recently bought that stock and wasn't 100% happy. might need to search for the review..
