  1. I'd guess a lower ser. number.
  2. wow. that's brutal! I admire the dedication though!
  3. I'm morbidly curious...what did it run you? spill it!
  4. OMG I love that movie. found it on DVD in a $3 bin somewhere lol. I lived on that and The Dark Crystal.
  5. I think he's just saying that if you are building from scratch, you can get a heavy AR10 buffer setup cheaper than a similar weight DPMS308 buffer setup. I just use rifle length...so I win. ;)
  6. blue is usually wrong. he's also kind of a Dick. we tolerate him because he makes us laugh now and then.
  7. many bipods have the ability to cant slightly. enough for most target shooting situations. I have an older GGG xds1 and like it. it's the QD model so I just swap it between rifles. I also have a thing for AZ companies.
  8. I seriously have wet dreams about being in that position. I hate my job passionately.
  9. Fulton armory makes your barrel.
  10. look up 2 posts lol.
  11. my bad...thought you were referencing this recent gem, which gets my blood boiling every time I see it http://www.alternet.org/swat-team-blew-hole-my-2-year-old-son I already forgot about the resident flash/bang expert :D

    Aguila 308.

finally grabbed some of this. the place is a sketchy looking little warehouse in an industrial area. they are only open a few hours a day, and nobody was there during those hours on 2 attempts, but third times the charm. I'll give a range report if I get out any time soon...but I've been working a ton so no ETA. looks a little rough. my .223 and 9mm had super bright polished brass, this stuff is dull and a little dirty. headstamp says aguila 7.62 73. not sure if that's a date stamp, but the packaging looks new, and I don't think the company has been around that long. I paid $145 out the door for 250 rounds so as long as it runs I'm happy. not expecting high performance.
  13. problem with that...15 min. after you leave the range, you want to shoot again.
  14. I'm ok with homeless campers, but burnt up toddlers push my PC limit. unless they are flooding over the border, in which case, flashbang away.
  15. havnt left the house "naked" since Jon posted this.
  16. that was pretty bad....and coming from me, that means REALLY bad to most normal folks!
  17. all this time I thought I just sucked at shooting. I feel much better now. off to google to find some sub MOA match grade magazines.
  18. seems a little gimmicky. I can't see that recoil system doing much, and I don't really trust it to fit well on a mil spec tube if it's suppose to fit a commercial tube as well. looks pretty funky too. but funky in a summer roadkill simmering on hot asphalt way, not so much in a George Clinton Pfunk era way. /opinion.
  19. so tom...have you pre-ordered your titanium grab bag yet?
  20. holy minimalist Batman......brilliant!
  21. sold.
  22. are you saying robo rides with a gimpy boyfriend on the back of his bike?
  23. then maybe we better keep him away from the Scotch during the next meet...
