Bison armory had some in stock recently. jse surplus had some mega barrels. Those brownells branded barrels look interesting. Not sure if any of those were heavies.

How is it that every single rifle ever sold online has had exactly 200 rounds through it?

UBR is in the mail for my 308 so I happen to have a A1 without a home:) the ACS looks pretty hot when its together though so well see.

im bored...so heres a pic of a pile of parts. Ive played around with a few configurations and i think i have it figured. FN/A2 upper. Delaware machine lower with consecutive ser. number to my 14.5 gun (its a RRA lower in the pic because i havnt put the DM together. the RRA is just a spare waiting for an idea ). ACS. MOE handguard. shadow ops FA BCG. its a true rifle length dissy with a DTI barrel. i built one like it for my father in law and it runs flawless. the barrel is a 3lb pig so im having it contoured down to .625 under the hand guard right now. i should be able to loose a lb at least? Armalite FSB is on order. still need a barrel nut and delta ring but im about to make a Brownells order so it should be rectified soon. thinking of trying out the Brownells short comp. its only an inch long and .750 OD. should make the dissy look extra stubby.

Thanks mang :) this one was a stag 3G but I stripped it and put all the parts on my mega rcvr set. Need to sell this scope for some more gun bling on the 308.

I was under the impression all rifle buffer tubes were A1? The addition of the spacer allows the longer A2 stock to fit. The PRS doesn't require a spacer so the standard buffer tube is A-ok.

You need a rifle buffer/spring for the PRS. 308 specific. The carbine won't work. Most in here will recommend slash heavy buffers. If you can't swing the price tag a standard DPMS 308 rifle buffer/spring will be fine and not very expensive.

They hadn't quite wasted enough money yet. At least the scenic and beautiful middle east / north African deserts will not be destroyed! Praise Allah

Awesome idea. Only thing I wonder about is the value of that barrel to a colt fanatic? Any chance you might be better off selling it and buying a new one with money to spare? My 3lb dissy pig barrel is being turned down to .625 as we speak :). Can't wait to compare it to the dissy I built for my father in law. Should be able to drop at least a lb I'd think.

Have you tried yet? It might come right off. If its tight it may just be locktighted on there so apply some heat. If it is pinned in place you will be able to see the spot where the hole was welded over. If pinned than that weld needs to be drilled out.

Dove in some lava tubes in Hawaii. Kinda freaked me out to be honest. I don't like rock over my head. Ran into a white tip in one of the caves to top it off. I burnt my whole air tank in about 20 min lol. They were all making fun of me on the boat.

an observation on that new SWFA 3-15.....the turrets are built like the ones on the older, lower quality scopes. the 3-9 and all the HD scopes have the allen head in the middlle of the knob while the older scopes have the 3 small screws. not sure if it means anything, just something that jumped out at me.
