Putting a AR together for a family member who just got out of the coast guard. since this rifle will spend most of its life as a desert plinker I'm not worried about spending a ton. Found mossberg barrels for $129 ($145 shipped) 1/7 5.56 melonite inside and out. still deciding on a handguard but hope to have it together soon. very curious to see if this thing shoots. Can't find too much info online that's not suspect.

I lift before I get out of the car. I think obviously exposing while walking up would be pretty douchy, but AZ is a long way away from CA legally. Our defensive display laws are pretty friendly. I always expose at ATM machines, pumping gas late at night, and when I'm out walking with my little girl. I guess I expose when I'm in a situation where I personally may be a target. I conceal when I'm part of the herd.

I generally conceal badly. I wear my full size 9mm in a serpa and let my shirt hang over it. 80% of people never notice it. Gunnies/Leo usually see it and it tends to result in a quick eye contact and nod. if libs see it it tends to result in a sour face and a jolt of pleasure for me. When a scumbag sees it his eyes usually go right to the ground.
