My matrix is an armalite pattern upper with DPMS pattern guts. I've seen threads where people posted pics of guns using mixed barrel/bolt setups that headspaced and ran just fine. I've seen posts of people with both platforms who micd them out and found no appreciable difference, and others who swear the lugs are longer, or the face is deeper, or the lug spacing is different, or they know a guy who knows a guy at armalite. If at all possible I'll try and keep my parts the same because I know it works. If I find myself in a position to have a mixed setup, I'll headspace it and then go shoot it. I'm willing to bet the difference between AR10 and LR308 bolts is no worse than the tolerance stacking you end up with mixing manufacturers of LR stuff.

It's actually not that light, but it's as solid as they come. Stays cool in the sun (important in AZ) and from rapid fire. Zero flex. It's an old design, and doesn't really do anything that justifies the price, but I love them. Functional. Classy. Combat proven by the best of the best in the worst places. Not sure what you mean by cap, but it's all factory.

They are pretty expensive...But I love them. Have 4. Two Delta's and two round.

Sad panda. This little beastie has really grown on me....And this morning some dick bag rear ended me. I was stopped behind a big truck waiting to make a left and dude just plowed me. Damage looks mostly cosmetic but I notice the right side tires seem to be sticking a little further past the fender than the left side. Hit me so hard he sheared the tow hitch off. I have to work tomorrow so I'll drive it around Sunday and see how it feels. I'm pissed though. More aggravation poured into a cup that already runneth over. On the bright side....That poor Tacoma never had a chance.

Had one. Think I sold it to Magwa with a scope? I liked it. You can remove the "ramp" you aren't using. Only issue I ran into was the windage knob obscured about 1/3 of the window of the RDS. it was still totally usable and I'm sure you will get different results depending on the optics you choose.

How does that work paperwork wise? Are those launchers ATF regulated? Require AOW stamps or anything like that?

That would go great with the rotating quad rail, 2500 lumen weapon light, mako tire deflator attachment, and elftman double paintball trigger on my "let's see how much dumb ish I can put on a gun" gun. I'm just concerned it wouldn't fit over my fake suppressor.
