  1. Well that's some good to know info right thar texas30!
  2. Uh-oh…not the dreaded "books on how to make explosives". :yup: What happened to the Kehoe (sp?) brothers?
  3. "Not like that you stupid little shite! <grabs rifle> Like THIS!!!" :909: "Now you try again. Good job!!" <laughs>
  4. Ssooo…you mean Stoner had the piston-AR built back in the 1960s? Oh the course of history.
  5. Why don't you have a 935 Señor Treeanahafeencher (say it with a Mexican accent)?
  6. True…the carrier is almost an inch longer. As are the charging handles. And why you need the 1" stock extension with the MagPul PRS.
  7. That's a fair price. Maybe a bit more for that 3 1/2" chamber but not something I would give extra value towards. Those 3 1/2" shells HURT.
  8. Yup…those S&Bs and the GFG headstamp stuff sometimes make me think you could pop a primer seating them.
  9. I remember the ol' measuring the knife across the hand, to see if it was legal. Fortunately AZ did away with that stupidity. That one with the Poles is small but says "We stand with you Connecticut!" where I got it.
  10. Dimensionally the same on the outside but with issues on OAL and pressures. Generally, don't shoot .308 Winchester in older 7.62x51mm surplus rifles.
  11. The Sellier & Bellot seem to be the consistently more difficult in our stash. I adjust the dies accordingly for the widest variable (on bulk handgun blasting ammo) and shuck away.
  12. All this distraction about trigger thievery. The real concern is, Dawn…do you have your rifle locked up where Tom can't get it?
  13. Sounds like the CNN experts talking out their corkhole. While the domestic law in the USA is to have enough fuel to reach your destination (at a minimum) plus a reserve of X-minutes (depending on VFR or IFR), major operators often fuel the plane up for multiple back-to-back legs without refueling. The Boeing 777 was designed for maximum endurance and fuel efficiency. Their sales pitch was "New York to Tokyo for less" to all the airlines. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_777#Specifications With the models having a median range of 8,892 standard U.S. miles (7,725 nautical miles), with a typical cruising speed of 560 mph (490 knots), that gives them an endurance of 15.87 hours, not counting reserves. The range will reach 1/3 of the way around the planet. Even with everyone armchairing flight paths, radar pings, and drug addict socialites saying they found it on Google earth, the reality is until it is found it can be 1/3 of anywhere.
  14. Sure can! Welcome! Someone's gettin' fancy!
  15. Lots of miss & hit with the CBC ammo. Not sure if it will work in a 7400 or not, as the main issue I've seen with the CBC is FTExtract, with the case rim being torn off on the extractor part. Those 7400s are quite light…sold mine after shooting a box or two of ammo. Really came to appreciate that few extra pounds on the M1A.
  16. I firmly believe that, with the proper load, that .460 would make a wolf look like a splat-yote (splat-YO-tee) along I-10.
  17. Just carry it in the front like I do, no one even notices.
  18. Another AZ welcome John!
  19. Even in Sweden!
  20. Nice! Welcome from AZ stingray! That's a good looking smoothside!

    Busted

Don't know. <dontknow> Regardless of those telling the truth, they all have some damn great stories to tell!
  22. Ssooo…does that make a straight stretch where you got over 15 tickets in a row? <laughs>
  23. Sounds like another MSC 308AR shooting project!
  24. After a few trips to the range in the 130° pit in the summer, with those beautiful black metal forearms on the LAR-8s, I'm quickly becoming a proponent of gloves while shooting.
  25. I bought a LAR-8 Operator. Hated it so much I bought a LAR-8 Elite Operator and still have both of them.
