WTF?! I was really looking forward to this, after the SHOT reviews. Guess they made a few quality jobs for the press, now back to normal operations.

Obviously it is possible to make a 200gr .224 projectile. They may have just made the .300 Blackout obsolete.

Yup. I should have said "Larger case rifle calibers" instead of just .308 loads. 1/2gr in .223 is a much higher percentage of the total load than in .308 caliber.

Picked brass out of the bed of my truck, from a number of range trips…took about twenty minutes.

Is this frowned upon in most large departments? With the exception of Tucson PD, all the other departments have been able to carry what they want…so long as the officer can qualify with it. While most are gravitating towards the AR platforms now, in the past there has been everything from Winnys M94 in .30-30 to the Remington semi-autos in a plethora of calibers.

I would add, for .308 Winchester. In other calibers, half a grain difference can be catastrophic.

Total amateur here but every time I've done fish on a grill, it has been in foil. Seen some folks use a griddle on the grill.
