Actual experience here.
Bought a used Kel-Tec P32 for a price too cheap to pass up. When cleaning it, all was good except for the hammer spring was rusty.
Ran boxes of ammo through it and the hammer spring finally gave way. Called Kel-Tec explaining the used gun deal and what happened. Tehy shipped me a new hammer spring assembly free of charge. Got it in like 2 days.
Carried it daily for a year or so and ran hundreds more rounds through it, before selling it for well over what I had in it. Never had a problem with rust afterwards either…not sure what the previous owner was doing.
It seems their PF9 works well too.
Taught shotgun last week. Forgot how much fun that is!
Those who were at the range in Marana, had them start out on steel at 25 yards to make sure they were sighting correctly. After that they got to rest a bit while we demonstrated what chokes do to the shot pattern, with skeet to full…four different chokes.
Then it was challenge time…who can ring the steel the fastest left to right, on the five hangers on the north rack. Next drill was outside to center, shooting left outer, right outer, left middle, right middle, center.
They were having one heck of a good time!
Once, as a kid, we were so cold we couldn't even strike matches. That's a real suckfest, let me tell you. If it had been an actual life-or-death situation, we'd have been screwed.
Ha! Larry when I started reading about you searching for a good Cuban restaurant, I was ready to say "We used to have El Cubanito…"
But I see you at least got to try it.
A couple of other Cuban restaurants have popped up but I've not tried them.
Nope, combat and firearms training simulator. Pepper spray, tazer, extendable baton, pistol, rifle, shotgun, all untethered (unlike FATS).
Everything from computerized targets and shoothouses to "live" domestic violence, car jackings, and bombers.
