  2. That's a bummer sketch. I took care of the girl a lot when she was sick as a youngster...but she only ever powerpuked on Mom. Jon
  3. Someone commented beneath it "I've seen more people standing in line for ammo." Jon
  4. I couldn't decide between "pic of the day" or "politics". But this made me happy! So here is a link to some awesome photos! Jon http://washingtonexaminer.com/article/2528129#.UXm0InjmmYw.twitter
  5. I believe alot of it depends on the part being stoned (how well it was heat treated) and who's doing the stoning. I've cleaned up crappola trigger pulls with a couple of stone passes. I've ruined triggers with several stone passes. Jon
  6. ARs tend to blowout down the mag fairly often...often enough I know a handful of people it has happened to. I've only been able to inspect one of the rifles though. Another reason to hold onto the handguard/forearm and not the mag/magwell. Jon
  7. I stumbled into GG&G's extended 30mm QD mount, on clearance at MidwayUSA for $142-ish shipped. Otherwise I'd probably have been shopping the Bobro like everyone else here. Jon
  8. Crockpot potroast! Jon
  9. 1 1/2# pull on a shotgun? I don't get it. Totally different solution to the question "What's the best way to get a projectile to the target?" When you're sending one projectile long distance, that 1 1/2# trigger may be an asset (rifles to hundreds of yards, pistols for target purposes)...but with a firearm sending a cloud of lead to the target, under 100 yards? That being said, in the Brownell's Q&A for this product, they even give an ambiguous advisement against using it on anything other than a slug-only shotgun. I'd buy a whole new trigger group from Remington, then have someone competent stone the engagement surfaces for you. Then mess around with the spring set-up. Jon
  10. Good job sir! Jon
  11. Camera Land for the scope. I got mine as a "opened box" model, because the person that originally bought it decided to upgrade prior to mounting it. Full warranty still. Shipped/insured $753 for the 4-16x50mm FFP PST. Jon
  12. What about pump-actions with detachable magazines? Jon
  13. Okay...here's a proper one-that catches fish, supplies beer, AND has a belly button ring. Jon
  14. Dang sketch! That's a good shop owner honoring his original price like that...give him lots of business! Jon
  15. For all you enjoying spring! Jon
  16. She said that when I told her (mouth full of lingua taco) it was "Like I was French-kissing a cow!" How is that my problem? Jon
  17. I think I stumbled upon Robo's family album. Jon

  19. This one? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdqwWo13pyw Jon
  20. Semi-autos banned, pumps banned. There are a lot, LOT of Aussies on Marlin Owners...as lever-guns are all over the place there in Australia. Still have all the registration red tape, permission, etc. And what, praytell, is "10G"? Photographic proof is required...graphic photographic proof. Jon
  21. He wasn't doing 165mph if the chopper was keeping up with him. Fact. Obtaining maximum speed in any aircraft requires not only ideal conditions meteorlogically, but perfection in placement of the controls. This applies even more so when flying cars at highspeed: Jon
  22. I'm sure you hear this all the time but that is some really nice wood! Jon
  23. When you come out bro, I'll take you to this great little place that does good tacos de lingua! Had a girlfriend chowing down on some, commenting how they were the best tacos ever and "What does 'lingua' mean?" Jon
  24. <lmao> <laughs> :laughing4: Crap that made me laugh! Well Drew...there goes your future Lee-Enfield collection, Ruger/Savage Scouts, mods like Tom did to his Remmy, and any MAS 36 purchases. Really a shame about the MAS too...most have never been fired and only dropped once. Jon
