  1. I grabbed it mid-swing and unforgiven ate it out of my hand, using the last splinter as a toothpick before saying "Try Rock River my brother. Don't make me repeat myself." Jon
  2. What size container did you get? Jon
  3. Better is often proprietary. Jon
  4. I'd agree that the Z cars started the attention for Japanese cars. The Land Cruiser started their offroad attention and those first Toyota 4X4 trucks, not the Land Cruiser style, were very impressive off road. The 350Z car was very impressive also...hope they continue the tradition! Jon
  5. Howdy from Arizona SRT1911! Jon
  6. I don't care if I get shotgun. So long as I can jump through the window with a running start, carrying my bow and dynamite arrows. Jon
  7. That's awesome! Lots of folks never get some items that are coming to them, later to regret it. Ya'll done good! Jon
  8. Don't have one now, but at past employers the policy was no internet for personal use. Then if they caught you on a non-approved site, they could terminate you. Jon
  9. Tom was just...just saying how he needed more of these rings! Jon
  10. What's cheap for the Agulia? Last time I got some it was like $17/brick. Jon
  11. On the bright side, if you did crash you wouldn't hear crushing metal. Jon
  12. Yup. They even articulate automatically now: http://www.ejectionsite.com/yf22seat.htm Jon
  13. Welcome subwofer2! Jon
  14. That stripped upper receiver I'd gotten from Midway had two gouges on the rail portion. Called DPMS, they issued a case number AND a shipping label. Sent it in like 12 days ago, got a new exchange in perfect condition yesterday! No questions asked! Jon
  15. For Tacticat! Jon
  16. Sweet! I wonder if we could swing $50k ordering through Tom. We may crash the economy not ordering other stuff though. Jon
  17. Casa Grande range is totally unmonitored. Surprised the hell out of me! The NW end is fenced off and used exclusively by local law enforcement but the rest is "keep it pointed at the berm towards the mountain" basically. Jon
  18. How far? I'm the only guy in the house. I'm obligated to do my part with yeast. :enguard: It is growing...but really, really slow. Kinda like a sober date. Jon
  19. They sell dehydrated/dried fish and shrimp all over the place around here. 'Tis an acquired taste. I was born here, lived most of my life here...and I've still yet to acquire it. Jon
  20. Pretty good for hyper-hang gliding! Jon
  21. That flour switch WAY slowed down the microbial activity! It is still growing but at nowhere near the 1950s horror flick speed it was. Jon
  22. It's the human mechanism that is the limiter. The fighter aircraft that are converted to drones (QF-102s/-106s/etc.) are able to crank way more Gs than they could with pilots onboard. The reclined position of the F-16's ejection seat was revolutionary, aiding the pilot in avoiding G-lock for a bit longer at a higher G-load. Now everyone does it. Scientists believe even the lowly pigeon is capable of pulling 15 Gs on a regular basis...kinda crazy! Jon
  23. Thanks guys! Okay...absolutely, positively certain now that The BLOB was based on these bakers' starters! Split, feed, and discard about 1pm, and the monster had grown to triple size again. Per the instructions, half was again discarded, watered, but now it gets fed with unbleached all-purpose flour. This "starves" the bad bacteria but allows the yeast and good stuff to continue. Once this stabilizes in about three days, we can go back to whole wheat flour for the feeding. After all this work plays out for over a week, we can work on storing the stabilized starter in the refridgerator. At that time it will still need to be fed once a week. Jon
  24. Insanely fast shipping, I now have to go to the post office to pick up those mags from Bravo Company. Jon
