  1. Welcome CasterTroy! Jon
  2. How much do lawyers cost per hour? You could give me the hourly rate for what their lawyers charge them for 20 hours of preparation on a lawsuit or brief and I could probably put 1,000 people through a shooting clinic with volunteer instructors. Now, what would have a bigger impact upon public opinion? Jon
  3. Went with Leatherman after more research, as "most made in America". SOG was hard to find information on their production but it looks like they have production in both Taiwan and China, as well as the USA. Jon
  4. Looks like someone is up for a day on leverguns and lead boolits. >:D MMmmuuuuuwaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Jon
  5. Cool! What is it? Tracer incindiary AP? Jon
  6. How many lumens bro? Jon
  7. Yup...damn near everything the NRA sells for clothing or gadgets is made in China. Fuckers. I may dump them again. I'm having a real issue with their lack of support for the Declaration of Independence. Jon
  8. It's only real fun if it is a crescent buttstock, that comes to a nice dagger point on each end. ;D Jon
  9. Went to a Friends of The NRA dinner and bought a few hundred dollars in tickets a few years ago. Friend next to me won a Mini14 Tactical. I won a chinese multi-tool with plastic handles that said "NRA" on the side. <laughs> Jon
  10. Yup, Mike, yup he did! <lmao> He also flew lawn chairs! Jon
  11. Marlin Owners may get you all hot and bothered about a big bore .444 or .45-70 Govt. pushing ounces of lead down the bore in one shot...but not here. We have the .338 Lapua and .458 SOCOM for that. <laughs> Jon
  12. Thanks guys! Thus far I'm leaning towards Leatherman, as they are (last I checked) made 100% in the USA. Gerber is a mixed bag right now. Someone said if you ship the Victorianox back they will rebuild it. That may be an option. Jon
  13. A decade ago I traded an old bicycle to a kid for a Victorianox Multi-Tool...needle nose pliers, wire cutters, straight and serrated blades, a couple of screw drivers, file, saw, fish scaler, hook remover, can and bottle openers. The Phillips driver was a bit stripped (as kids will do) but it was no big deal. Since then all manufacturers have made leaps and bounds with quality multi-tools! I want another good GP multi-tool, made in the USA. Which ones do you have and like? Really am looking for a general purpose model, not one geared or styleized to AR15s or gunsmithing or auto mechanics, etc. Multi-purpose multi-tool. ??? Jon
  14. As well you should! And we here would NEVER think of getting you all hot and bothered about old and antiquated bolt, lever, pump, and break-action rifles. :o Jon
  15. I believe you! I used to hum the theme from The A-Team while buzzing around on my motorcycle. <thumbsup> Jon
  16. GG&G one-piece came today. It looks well built! At the discount MidwayUSA was offering my cheap ass couldn't make the jump to the Bobro. Now...for the Vortex PST to arrive in mid-November. Jon

  18. ANY AR? Including RRA LAR-8s? Hhmmm... Jon
  19. And anyone before that, S&W Chief's Special 5-shot .38 Special. <laughs> Who can deny McGarrett doing a 200 yard shot with his 2-incher, in a Hawaiian trade wind? And don't forget Ponch and Jon, who never ever drew their guns, who came out with that rad theme song that Robocop hums to himself all day! <lmao> Jon
  20. Man-dude-Tom...you got it baaaaaaad! <laughs> <lmao> Pretty cool setup though!! Jon
  21. If it gets real bad, maybe ya'll can shoot looters! :o Jon
  22. I don't know man. I have this theory that people that pay WAY more for stuff are less likely to give it a bad review or they'll look stupid. The Boyd's stock looks very similar. I've been more than satisfied with their laminated stocks. Jon
  23. You shouldn't let us dissuade you from lead in your manually operated blasters. Lead is the poop when it comes to impressive downrange killing performance! Nice wide meplat, nice big hole. Stories abound of hole-in and hole-out on big game, after SMASHING every bone in its path, with allegedly obsolete calibers. Jon
  24. The girl isn't too fond of them. When she gets a bit too obnoxious she gets a bag of assorted range pick-ups to sort. <laughs> Jon
  25. Bummer Greg! May as well make the best of it. Go around and ask the locals in Charlotte "Where's the best place to get some of those deep-fried breaded fat balls, with butter on them?" <thumbsup> Jon
