Yes.
When the GFSZ act was passed into law originally, it was challenged immediately on those very grounds. There are now a list of exceptions to the GFSZ law, as the original wording was declared unconstitutional.
Off the top of my head, if you live/work within the 1,000' radius, you are licensed by the state to carry a firearm (some argue this means a CCW permit), are a security guard under contract by the school, a police officer executing your duty, are a hunter needing to cross school property during hunting season to access hunting lands (no shiit, this was put in due to the persistence of West Virginia representatives). Some others too.
Ironically, the fed law says you may present your firearm to stop an unlawful act at a school but may not fire it, which is in direct conflict with AZ law which says you may not have a firearm on (public) school property but may discharge it to stop a felony crime in process.
They will get you one way or the other.
