I appreciate that guys, but she is a lot like me, if the money isn't there then it just don't happen. When her first husband got them on govt. assistance because he was too lazy to work she divorced his sorry ass and moved to Florida to get away from his drug dealing family. Same thing with the second husband. When she couldn't get him off his lazy ass to find a job she figured out that since she was already supporting the family if she got rid of him it would be one less mouth to feed and no loss of income! She isn't the brightest when it comes to picking life partners (I think she's getting wiser in that department) but she knows how to make an honest living. Her 20 year old son has a good job and helped with the traveling expenses too. It was a late decision to come to New Mexico for Christmas and they hadn't really set aside any money for the trip so it was a light budget this go around. Plus, there was actually three of them not counting the one in the oven, her, the 20 year old and her ten year old son.

Don't even bother to gut shoot him! Do him like someone did a guy here several years ago, chain padlocked around his neck and around a utility pole and let him die of thirst!

I've shot 190's, but some of the guys at 300blktalk.com are shooting 220's with it.

Well, I have a bar at the house with beer on tap, but it's at the opposite end of the house from my reloading bench. :hethan:

A river rock will work too, and they are free!

Turned it sideways! Kill shot, it's a kill shot! <lmao>

Got me a Cannon 48 gun Safe. I actually got it on Black Friday on a one day sale at Tractor Supply but it was my Christmas present.

Great video Jon! I have a lot of respect for the deck crew on those ships! <thumbsup>

My daughter and her two boys came from Miami for Christmas and since it was quite a bit cheaper they decided to come by bus rather than fly. I've done the bus thing years a go and said never again, but what the hell do I know? The trip out was uneventful but going back was a whole other ballgame for them. We put them on the bus here at 6:30 PM on the 1st. and when they got to El Paso they were informed that the roads were closed to Dallas and they would not be able to leave until the next morning. They were allowed to sleep on the bus though (Oh JOY!). The next day they were informed that the roads were still closed and they didn't know when they would leave. That evening they were told that they wouldn't be leaving until the NEXT morning, and no bus to sleep on. People were sleeping on the floors in the terminal and my daughter (who is 6 months pregnant) threw a fit. Besides her there were 2 other obviously pregnant women and and 80 year old lady stranded there. They couldn't leave (I had offered to go pick them up) because they didn't know when the roads would open. Greyhound then gave out vouchers for motel rooms (pay for the cab yourself). They finally got out on the morning of the 3rd. They had long layovers in Dallas and Atlanta because of being off schedule and the buses being overbooked. In Tallahassee my daughter was trying to get info on when they could get out of there and the lady (I use that term loosely) at the ticket desk told my daughter she should just take her ass back to Mexico! My daughter is hispanic, both her mother and her biological father are Cuban, but she was born and raised in Texas and doesn't speak a lick of spanish. The consequence of that remark to her was that she was refunded the total cost of her and her sons' return tickets and the employee was fired on the spot and escorted to the door in front of everyone! My daughter says she's not taking the bus anymore! <lmao>

I just got one of their AR15 NiB bolt carriers. That thing looked almost too nice to put in the gun! -
I've been using IMR 4227 for both and it's working really well for me. 4227 seems to be more available than a lot of the other 300 BLK powders too.

Ed, go down to the local home improvement store and get a 4"X8"X16" solid cinderblock and use that to whack on. Should make less noise and save your desk too!

Moose limbs!

I remember back when I first started reloading. My first wife said "Most guys go out to the bar and drink, you disappear in the reloading room!" <lmao>

Looks like you've got a winner there, and looks good to boot! Had my daughter and 2 grandsons here from Miami for Christmas and took them to the range. The older one (20) had never shot before and I had him busting clay pigeons from 100 yrds. with my DPMS 308. :sniper: He's HOOKED! <lmao>

I LIKE dealing with people like that! They think like I do! <lmao> -
Exactly what I was thinking when I saw the vid.

As I said in the OP, the brass is once fired, never been reloaded. Most of this stuff is WWC headstamp and didn't have crimped primers. I ran the primer pocket reamer ( measures .207) through them just to avoid any priming problems and that may have enlarged some of them. I still have 1K+ that haven't been sized and decapped yet and I won't use the reamer on those when I process them. I'll probably just have to shitcan this batch! Mike, thanks for those measurements, that's basically what I was looking for. <thumbsup>

I started loading some milsurp 7.62 brass today and the Winchester primers were really easy seating, too damn easy in my opinion! I checked the primers with my caliper and they were .210 diameter. I don't have any other brands of large rifle primers to compare, but my Winchester large pistol primers measured the same .210 and some CCI large pistol primers measured .211. If you guys have some Federal, CCI or other brand large rifle primers could you check the diameters and post it up here? I'm curious to see how other brands compare to the Winchester stuff. I've never had primers seat with so little effort and it bothers me. These are once fired cases, never been reloaded!

Ares Armor sent a letter to ATF with crayon illustrations to make it easy to understand. Check it out; http://aresarmor.com/store/NewsArticle/atf_rul2015-1?utm_content=l_srader%40hotmail.com&utm_source=VerticalResponse&utm_medium=Email&utm_term=Read%20the%20rest%20of%20the%20letter%20here&utm_campaign=ATF%20coloring%20bookcontent <laughs> <lmao>

Nice! Hope I get a chance to shoot that thing sometime! <thumbsup>

As far as I know, there are no pistol tubes designated as commercial or milspec, but I could be wrong. I've just never seen any listed that way. They usually give a diameter, most ranging between 1.17 and 1.25
