  1. Good deal, got yourself a shooter
  2. The only 25 rounder for B models I know is from Armalite; https://www.armalite.com/product/ar10-b-series-gen-ii-magazines-individual/ A&B model uppers and lowers do not interchange.
  3. I doubt you find one, the B is on the way out so nobody will spend the money to tool up for one. 25 rounders is best you can do for max capacity.
  4. Another interesting thing about this recent document dump, the documents were altered with to prevent a key word search. Reports are the background was given a grainy appearance when put in pdf form that prevents searches so to get information from these documents a person has to go old school and read it all, this may actually be good in some respects but I question how many of the MSM will actually have someone read them. Here is a not so MSM take; https://www.lauraloomer.us/blog/lombardo-lied-new-vegas-shooting-documents-reveal-three-women-found-in-stephen-paddock-s-room
  5. About time for him to roll in with something else for sale, his arse should be healed from the last kicking it took...........
  6. Sig eventually pulled the 14 rounders, they tried a couple versions and never did get it right. Wonder how many of those mags are sitting out there waiting to hand out future disappointment. Another product Sig released for customers to beta test........
  7. That seems to be the sweet spot. When I tried to get another quarter width closer it would catch the carrier instead of the bolt once in awhile.
  8. Not really that big a deal. You should be able to loosen the gas block enough to get to the port. A bit set, some lube, a wooden dowel, and a cordless drill are all you need. You can do it
  9. Drill up one size at a time until you get the desired function. Then of course add your data to the thread so the next guy will have a baseline, it's a work in progress so to speak
  10. Curious how far off the bolt catch is the bolt face when you pull the CH fully to the rear?
  11. SLR just sent an email update to their bargain bin, 8 pages of deals on top grade stuff! https://slrrifleworks.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=116&page=8
  12. That part bothers me, I was glad to see you call it out. That is the kind of thing we don't need on this site, that could bring attention that is undesirable and could also steer the unknowing in the direction of committing a felony! Anything the mods could do to make sure there is clarity on that part of the thread would be appreciated. @Floydieguns I took some gunsmith schooling in the 70's, don't consider myself a gunsmith but always felt fixing guns was gunsmithing. One of the reasons I enjoy the AR platforms so much is it allows me to build weapons without having a mill, welder, lathe or any of the other fancy expensive equipment. Just replace parts to get different results then sell the one you don't need (if it is a good part). Why parkerize? The newer finishes are just miles beyond oil soaked parkerizing and if your time is worth anything it's not that far off in costs. I have a hot blue tank, haven't used it since the 70's, a big hassle and a big mess. If 98 bothers you simply hit that ignore button, you are gonna miss out on the most knowledgeable source of information on AR rifles here but at least he will stay calmer and be able to spend his time as he usually does, helping people get their rifles running instead of correcting and clarifying your rebuttals. My last piece of advice about being a forum member here, read, read, and read some more. This will do two things for you, one give you unending knowledge of the large frame AR system and two, give you a better feel for the personalities of the people here and how best to approach them, remember you are joining us. I was a member for almost two years before I started posting, just read and searched, that worked for me.
  13. Great hand guard, great price, definitely paid to ask!
  14. I didn't do the math, that can't be right then, the sale must have ended, I don't see anything on their site about it. Highest 308 handguard is $299.
  15. I am not positive but wouldn't be surprised if that is with the 40% off, many of their handguards are just under $300. SLR is good stuff and they are very proud.
  16. Have you used both FGMM 175 loads and if so do you see a difference in accuracy? The 7.62x51 version is supposed to be the same specs as the MK 316 mod0. I have seen a minimal difference with the nod going to the 7.62 designated round but with such a small difference it could be other factors besides the ammo causing it. I have not found enough information from others to see a trend one way or the other.
  17. I have tried to find something, anything but zilch info available! I am curious to find out if Bill's accusations of falsifying the autopsy and other things are true. If true the claim he did not kill himself would put the event in a whole new perspective. I hope someone credible will continue to push this story forward to a conclusion, hate to see another conspiracy theory left for the next generation.

  19. Truth!
  20. @Sisco , I bet there aren’t many pistol grips that don’t feel small in those grizzly bear paws of yours! I got in on the teething issues for the 938. Took three trips back, they redesigned the main spring housing, guide rod, and the mag catch. They did make it reliable eventually but only fixed the issues if people complained. The MSH should have been a recall as it was a guaranteed failure somewhere around 500 rounds. They never have gotten my P716 sorted, gas issues and it has to be cleaned every 100 rounds, not what I thought I would get with a piston gun. At the same time my 226’s, 239, and PM400 have been flawless, outstanding weapons! There is a definite timeframe when they start releasing weapons with issues and it coincides with Cohen becoming CEO.
  21. Not at the range but had the law called on me once, neighbor claimed we were shooting right over his head and it must be some kind of cannon. Sheriff laughed when he got there and then laid down a couple five round groups! The neighbor was just a little pissed
  22. I think my 25 are to heavy and awkward for most applications. I am curious what these fit, might very well be SR25 style and the seller just doesn’t know the proper nomenclature?
  23. MAC was showing that a spring for the reset I think it was, is dragging on the back of his magazine? That’s just poor QC. I handled one at my pushers place, like how it pointed, nice sight picture and a pretty good trigger, glad I didn’t jump though! People expect a certain amount of issues from companies like Taurus, low price, lower expectations. SIG had a reputation built up that was the envy of many companies but this long string of problems under Cohen has got to start hurting that. Notice they stopped using the slogan “to hell and back reliability “
  24. What the hell, did I say they were “reprehensible “ fuk no I didn’t so why do you want to inflate what I said with your own rhetoric? Maybe you associate reprehensible with their actions, Freudian slip? Suss out? Why don’t you “suss out” what principal I am holding others to but not myself? Never mind that, find myself not giving a fuk. You damn sure ain’t gonna ever find me handing out money to a politician to favor me in proposed legislation. I would donate money in hopes of furthering the 2nd but I don’t bribe, pay kick backs, or purchase favors ( can’t count hookers). Perspective versus principals? Not following that, am I perfect? Fuk no I am a man, who among us is perfect. I do tend to sacrifice a good bit to maintain my principles and take it as an insult when someone that only knows a tiny slice of what my life’s perspective is questions my sincerity and insinuates I live a double standard. That’s what led to this schit. Hate? Fuk no, I wouldn’t let you even get close to that button. Lost some respect, yeah don’t have the same respect for you I did..... Now does ANYONE have an opinion on SIG or the 365?
