Just buy one Lancer to insure function before you spend a bunch. I have a rifle that doesn't like the newest 20 rounders but works fine with a ten rounder a year or two older. They are sweet mags for sure though!

Rocksett works good with high temp applications. Just soak it overnight in water and it will turn right off. That is what AAC supplies with their brakes.

I wouldn't say moving them with just a finger but you should be able to manipulate them with an empty case. I use Armalite springs in both. the spring goes all the way to the head, the shoulder holds it in place.

As guruofhotrod linked to, my Matrix upper will not mate with my Armalite AR-10B lower. It has Armalite threads for the barrel nut but I doubt if the DPMS threaded version would be any different.

I like it by the looks. Hopefully it is tough enough you can whack somebody in the head and not bend it, just an obsessive requirement for me.

Another vote for the Tubb's spring. I don't have one paired with a heavy buffer yet but do run one in a 300BO and one in a 308 AR carbine and have had good results, another benefit besides the long life and extra lock time is how quiet they are compared to standard springs.

I have the rifle size version in my AR-10, never experienced an issue and I like to shoot fast and often. You should have no issues.

If you have the time reloading is hands down the way to go. Saves a little cash, maybe, but the improved performance is the cats arse.

I have noticed Armalite seems to be running low inventory on everything lately. They restock pretty quick but even when you get notification emails sometimes the item will be out of stock before you can open the page! Looking forward to hearing what you think of the barrel, I've been thinking about that 18 inch with rifle gas. Wish they would do a 14.5 inch so I could pin and weld an AAC 51T FH.
