  1. Hang in there Bubba, concentrate on doing your best for the family at hand, enjoy the company at the wedding.
  2. Good deal! Now it's time to start buying ammo in bulk
  3. Damn, wish mine didn't have checkering after seeing the price of those smooth grips!
  4. These are definitely the target grips. I'll send some pictures when I get home in a week. They look like the ebay listing but smoother, not as grainy.
  5. I have a set of S&W grips off my dad's duty gun from the mid 70's that are like new, first thing he did was take them off and put Pachmayr's on it. Not sure what model it was, stainless 357, looks real similar to the wood you have there. How much are these old grips worth?
  6. Hmmmmm....so there would be a silver lining.
  7. Back up on my iPhone.
  8. Can't get to the home page either, had to use the history to get to this page. iPhone is a total bust now.
  9. Cleared the browser history on my phone and now the site will not load at all, just a blank page. Tried to get to the site from a google search but had the same issue, ebay, outlook and other sites I use came up fine, just signed in again and they worked. Think I'll leave the history on my laptop so I don't get totally cut off.
  10. I am experiencing the same issue, thought it had something to do with the internet service in the new apartment but looks like it is related to the site as everything else is working fine.
  11. According to this video review 4 1/2 turns out is where the bleed off starts, in from there is increasing the restrictive mode, 4 1/2 is like a standard non-adjustable gas block. The direction have you turning it out from that position until you lose function then back one or two clicks, can't remember exactly.
  12. Typical left wing communist attitude, the ends justifies the means in their world.
  13. Yep, there's instructions on their website, I know I watched a video on YouTube as well. Also curious if it will bleed off enough gas to stop function on the 6.5?
  14. Have you tried the SA gas block in bypass mode or is that in bypass? I can't remember how many turns it was but I had mine all the way out on the matrix build. Curios how the bypass works for 5.56.
  15. Good looking stick, what is the weight?
  16. Nathan, what Parameters are used to establish your gas port sizes in 300 BO barrels? With such a wide spread in pressure between sub-sonic and supersonic ammo it would seem you have to pick one type to match the barrel to? I built a pistol with a 10.5 inch faxon barrel and had to open the port up to get it to function with subs and no suppressor, no big deal because I used an adjustable block so when I want run suppressed or supers I can adjust down. Have you ever thought of offering 300 BO barrels with ports for specific loads?
  17. That's because the original AR designation stands for Armalite, the AR-50 designation is trademarked same as AR-10. 9mm stuff caught my eye as well, maybe a 9mm slidefire build in my future.
  18. They have some great prices for sure. Wish we could convince all the sponsors to get the nomenclature right. Besides the usual AR-10 deal they ar using AR-50 for their 50 BMG upper, another term specific to Armalite.
  19. Welcome from Iowa, via Virginia!
  20. Find a good machinist/welder. Have him cut off the FA off an Armalite and fill it in. I have seen that done on one of these gun forums a while back. Armalite has a rail that looks pretty damn close to that. https://armalite.com/shop/ar-10-quad-rail-free-float-rifle-handguard-kit/ You can be sure it all plays well together that way.
  21. I've got a half dozen from Midwest Industries and they have never came apart unless I wanted them to.
  22. First of the series, well worth watching them all;
  23. I've gotten some with the box corners like that but no issues with the actual shells, FGMM has a pretty good plastic holder.
  24. and that is how you sell some barrels!
  25. So the government has these length rules for knives at work, 2 7/8 inch blade max in my agency. I think I found a work around, I am allowed to keep a machete in my truck and use it for work. I found this ESEE Junglas used for $120, never been used but the guy greased the edged and stained the handle with it a bit. These are listed by the manufacturer as a small machete so I'm within the rules. The "machete" feels great in the hand and the sheath is very well thought out, should be the last one I need. 1095 high carbon steel and razor sharp out of the box.
