  1. That's a hell of a price on that. I take it from the numbers that it's a B model. Go for it Draco.
  2. And he finally admits it. Ha
  3. Now it's all stating to make sense.
  4. Obviously....that fine lookin young man gets his looks from his mother, and not his father. That's awesome that you all had a good time Dirk. It sounds like you all are getting him started right. Enjoy the time as he's learning.....and before you know it....he'll be at the age to really go out blasting with you. But then the ammo and beer cost increase exponentially. Good job brother.
  5. Yep. Look under the "308 AR technical" section. Pat has his own heading under that.
  6. Well........now that you mention it................. HA!
  7. Hmmmm. Sounds like he's gonna have to sit in the front of the Helo on the next OP........so we can keep an eye on him. For strictly security reasons of course. laughing
  8. A BIG standing applause JT.
  9. Welcome from MD.
  10. Didn't even need to be nudged or nothing.
  11. No doubt.
  12. ^^^^ Damn Larry, all you had to do was ask my brother. I could have fronted you a spring.
  13. Sounds like we need gorilla bait. Quick! Get me a duck mask a 3 foot double-headed jelly dong and a bottle of Jack Daniels!
  14. I'd go Harris if price is your main objective. But both are nice (Harris and Atlas) I've got a couple of both of them, and have never had an issue with them. Watch out when you talk Bipods my man. You can open up a whole can of worms (read as headaches) when you do. A couple of the other brothers around here wore my ass out about bipods (one in particular), when I brought it up one time. Ha!
  15. 50# to 80# (depending on gas tube alignment) for the barrel nut. As for the castle nut on the buffer tube as well as your muzzle device. Just use common sense with those. All I've ever done is tighten them down, and then add a little extra umph (yeah...it's a technical term) to them. Once again, paying attention to alignment (timing) on the muzzle device. Welcome aboard Doc.
  16. Welcome from MD Halo.
  17. Welcome aboard Frank. Don't worry about the nut smacks and pants-down hugs that the guys are referring to. We're a lovable, harmless (well most of the time) group around here. Trust me! HA!

  20. In case anyone is interested. I stumbled across this deal. Good, quality Milspec ammo from ATK/Lake City/Federal. Good price at 150 including the can. I picked up a couple of cans just because. http://www.glensoutdoors.com/federal-xm193lc1-ac1-5-56-nato-55-grain-fmj-bt-in-ammo-can-420-rounds.html
  21. Nope. He's always a Full ass. Ha!
  22. Clean? Both Rob and I always ask..........what is this "cleaning" thing? HA!
  23. Welcome from MD.
  24. Don't thank him like that. You're gonna make his head big.
