  2. Now those are pretty fukin cool. Could you imagine a squad of guys racing up to, and assaulting a target on these? Hmmmmmmmmm.......................................................................

  7. That's a great looking rifle there. I LIKE it!
  8. I see what you did there smartass.
  9. Try Seekins Precision. I think they make an enhanced style of bolt catch. Or maybe phase 5 tactical.

  15. Yeah, that's what I was thinking when seeing all the marks on the inside of the upper receiver. None of mine show marks like that. And I've got thousands of rounds through them. It definitely looks like it's (the carrier) drifting off of it's center axis. And that would make sense with the way the receivers are lining up. As far as play from side to side, all of mine have barely enough to even be noticeable. Surely not enough to allow the upper to line up outside of the lower. I would wonder if the block on the upper, that the takedown pin slides through when closed together, isn't machined properly (wide enough). That would possibly allow the ass end of the receiver to move from side to side. I would hope that Armailte would make this right. In the past, I would have said that there was no question. But I haven't had any dealings with the company since it changed hands, short of just buying individual parts. I may be the Armalite pusher around here....and I love every Armalite rifle that I have. But, that being said, I'm not a blind rube or a shill for them either. Things change when companies get sold or absorbed sometimes. We'll see if they've kept their integrity of quality or not with this one.
  16. Damn, that's some good pricing on the brake JT. When you say take-offs, I take it you mean the 51T flashider, and not the comp? Me personally, I love their comp. I've probably got them on at least 4 or 5 different rifles. More eye candy just because. It's a $hitty picture (yeah yeah, I know). But an Armalite AR-10 A2 carbine (my first AR-10) using the AAC brake. It also has the JP enterprise FSB adjustable block.
  17. 2 BDS Tactical "Micro Rigs". One for me, and one for my son (his birthday is next week). The little (6'-2") fukker will be 28.
  18. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't believe that any 7.62 suppressors are designed to fit onto standard flash hiders. At least not that I know of. And I don't, in any way, claim to be an expert. Though I have stayed at a holiday inn once or twice. Most of them have their own specific mounts for QD attachment, or you can pull the flash hider and just thread some of them on. Myself, I use AAC setups....mainly because I became a fan of their equipment years ago (before I started buying my own). Others here are fans of AAC also, but there are many different manufactures that make some pretty nice cans. If you do decide to go with a suppressed 308 AR (any of the different platforms), you'll definitely want to check into getting an adjustable gas block. These larger 308's produce a considerable more amount of back pressure than the smaller 5.56 AR's. A couple of examples just for eye candy. Armalite AR-10 SASS with an AAC 762-SD Armalite AR-10 SBR with an AAC SDN6. Armalite AR-10 A4 carbine. This was isn't showing it with the can, but you can see the AAC muzzle brake on it.

  24. What? You think Rob can't get there fast enough?
  25. Just wondering what any of the other "fathers" may have planned for tomorrow. As we all know.....we generally go underrated in this world. Which is fine of course. We're used to it. Ha Anyway, I'll start. I think I'm planning on going to a bar-b-que lunch at my son's place. It'll be with him, his old lady, his sister (my daughter) and the ex (who I actually get along with pretty well these days....for the most part). Plus, I get to spend some time with the lil puddin (yeah....I said it). My granddaughter (HEY....I'm only 50 you bastards), who just happens to be adorable as she approaches to being about a year and a half old now. And.....I think that little girl has already figured out that she's got her grandpa wrapped around her finger. The little bitch. (said with love of course) So what are you a$$holes up to tomorrow? Fuckers!
