  1. Actually......the 2nd stage would probably make you focus a little more.
  2. I'm all in with the 46 year old charger lookin better than any Japanese POS. That thing is DAMN SEXY! Now Gordon, on the other hand. I've come to appreciate his talent....over the years....but I still don't like him. Granted....at least he's from the "previous" generation of drivers (the 90's). And I say that lightly. I was always a Wallace fan from the moment I first saw him in the early 80's (Go Rusty........love that guy). An Elliot/Petty/Yarborough/Allison fan.....s h I t.......you name it from the earlier days of "What used to be racing". Mast, Shepard, Trickle, Marcus, Wood, Gant (handsome Harry), Bodine, (both brothers), Parson, Jarret (the father not dale).................I could easily go on. BUT...........I'm dating myself. <laughs>
  3. A 308 is only gonna be so light. Just the nature of the beast.
  4. I would've come back and shot that fucker........just because. 4 legger with an attitude = dead 4 legger. We (the 2 legged variety) didn't climb to the top of the food chain for nothing. Now.....on a lighter note. I did laugh my ass off watching the video. That's one attitude-swingin dude.
  5. And just think. Tom would love it, because it's in FDE.
  6. All sorts of rails out there Zecura. Just keep lookin around and don't be in a hurry to snag the first one you see. Some pretty neat s h I t in this platform these days.
  7. I ain't saying nothing..............................but most of Armalites' barrels are 1:11.25. Except for the SASS and "t" models that is. They're 1:10.
  8. God damn that's funny Wash. I'm gonna have to start playin that one on a loop also. After all......I am part Irish (and not just at St. Patrick's day).
  9. Yep. That's what it looks like to me too. And given I got the P308 SBR just last year after a (almost) 2 year wait, I understand their pricing. Not that it's reasonable mind you. Just that I understand it. Now I didn't realize that their stuff wasn't DPMS compatible unless otherwise stated. But I only have one other DPMS/SR25 patterned build waiting to happen. (shocker) All of my other one's are Armalite's.
  10. Lookin good Ed.

    Welcome from MD
  12. Awww shucks. It's the thought that counts Wash.
  13. See what happens when you talk bad about Armalite's in other threads?
  14. Obviously....you're delusional. You should probably sit down before you collapse from being so light-headed. You might wanna start heading to the ER now, with 9 and 1 already punched into your phone. Keep a cold compress on your forehead, and make sure to tell the doctor just exactly when you started having these mental disorders. I'll look past the infraction this time, because of the aforementioned obvious affliction.
  15. No. Not a stupid question. Single stage = squeeze the trigger until it "breaks" and the rifle goes BANG. 2 stage = You can feel the trigger creep, and then it feels like it hits a stop. Squeeze a little more and the rifle goes BANG. Simple enough explanation for ya?
  16. Didn't you know that I've got that playing on a loop in my house at all times? <laughs>
  17. Who doesn't like explosions?
  18. I've got one of the PTR's. It's a nice HK clone. Well made. About as accurate as a G3 (91). Reliable. The only time that mine has even burped was when I tried running it suppressed. It didn't like the can at all. But without it? It run's great. And HK mags are cheap and available everywhere. And who doesn't love that HK design of "slapping" the bolt (Op rod) forward?
  19. First, with me being THE Armalite pusher.......welcome to the club of AR-10's my man. Jumping in the deep end with a JP barrel huh? I like your style. It sounds like you're gonna need an Armalite carbine buffer tube. They're their own size compared to the DPMS/SR25 patterned rifles. I (and many others around here) will suggest getting a heavybuffer from heavybuffers.com. A lot of us run those. I use them in most of my AR's (especially the 10's). They alone, affect recoil a fair amount. That and along with a good muzzle device will make that thing shoot as smooth as an AR-15. Keep throwing questions out dude. We're not gonna make you feel stupid or bust you balls (well....maybe some light ball bustin). We're all here to help each other with ideas and fixes when needed.
  20. LOVE that landscape around you. Good lookin rifle.
  21. Smartass! :thefinger: Shouldn't you be at work? It's around noon or so out your way. What kind of intel are you looking for Pokey? Besides just some generic pros and cons. Now that I just woke up from my drunken slumber. <laughs>
  22. Welcome aboard P2B. Yes.....you can never have too many parts.
  23. You too? <laughs>
