  9. I've heard that the bar owners out on F told us there were moose and I thought they were nuts
  10. I know a few people around were a deer hunt that have seen them to my friend lives off 13 as you leave butternut she swears she saw one in her yards. I've seen fisher tracks up there never a fisher, only a couple of bear. plenty of sign tho twice driving clear cuts my buddy and I have had one between us
  11. We get reports of them romeing down around here I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few that lived over closer to the Mississippi valley. More so tho have been mountain lions, a co workers uncle opened up one of his out buildings (an old barn) and one ran out of it 10 or so years ago this time of year. The UW biologist were traipsing all over the marsh I duck hunt setting DNA traps. It was alittle unnerving duck hunting that year......
  12. I need a history lesson, in my defense I was 2......
  13. Learned a lot about bears on my trip last year, stealthy courious sob's. Not so much scared of them now, but I've got a new found respect of them.
  14. makes me love the Midwest, I could get some damn nice property for that.
  15. he's got a point. But I understand your annoyance too
  16. 200k would get you 5 acres in the country here :)
  17. Got some slings from Jacob today and they are top notch as usual. He made me one to go with my 1187 I painted last month and it looks badass!!! Also I got one of his single point slings I like it a lot the para cord acts as a cushion on your shoulder. I'll take some pictures next week when I get my barrel back
  18. I plan on stopping at Midwest industries here soon and I'll be dropping them a few stickers.
  19. I gotta agree with slugger on hiring your own agent. Mine was a guy who's wife worked with my mom he was 65-70 years old doing it as a hobby. He was an awesome guy, he truly wanted me in a nice house. I remember when he took my dad and I into this house he said " don't mind the smell and remember everything is cosmetic" lol, the smell was horrible!!!
  20. nope no sr 71 but I do have a z-71 lol
  21. same bear both pictures think the guide said 425 or 450 thanks 160* plus ;)
  22. JT's right. My house was foreclosed only 17 years old everything was trashed house was sound. I got lucky I've heard of sack-Crete down drains and toilets shit like that. my house I had to rip out all the carpet (dog shit and piss everywhere), rip out a couple 1000$ in pergo floor because the fridge leaked water in the kitchen, then into the basement, fix a bunch of water damaged dry wall in the basement and the rest of the upper level because there were knife holes and fist holes in it. Took my two months to get it so I could move in (I was working on the road at the time). If it was all cosmetic I would do it over again. Good luck
  23. wish he'd strolled past me about a year ago, with that said I'm making bear chilli this weekend About like that?
  24. that was the reason the ban baiting in the centeral/southern part of the state figured it would be spread by deer pooping or urinating around bait piles spreading it more. From what I understand is Wisconsin had had the most radical reaction to it and like I said our deer population, people who farmed deer (elk, white tail and others in the deer family) took a huge hit from it. A friend of a friend had some trophy bucks he would sell semen to ranches to breed more throphy bucks, they literally became worthless over night with the restriction put on the transportation of animals or animal parts. Same with an elk farmer at the farmers market, he slaughtered all his elk because that was the only way to get anywhere near his investment back on them. DNR= do nothing right
  25. I think it's a piss poor attempt no pun. They've decimated the deer population here in Wisconsin with their knee jerk reaction to chronic wasting, no one sees the deer they used to and the virus is still here....
