  5. yes I forgot that too "what they eat" the coastal bears get fishy. I've heard on good years of blueberry crops bears taste great. yes Phillips it's a cool town, and I love roscoes lol
  6. +2 and if so how are they going to replace that revenue
  7. looking for a tri or single fold wallet what you guys carry? Thinking about going away from leather but not apposed.
  8. and someone screaming in your face calling you a pussy lol
  9. think it all depends on how they were butchered and field dressed. I once had some bad bear too.
  10. hoping to whack some geese tomorrow night and make up some jerky this weekend
  11. Bear is a very rich meat, we had ribs on my birthday they were very good, little tough (not because they weren't cooked right) but good! I made hamburgers with my ground meat, best burgers ever. we got garlic summer sausage and regular snack sticks made. The butch I went to used beef they said they use beef because bear is more like beef than pork. Idk if you ever been to roscoes in Phillips Sisco but I really wanted to go there. Every thing I've gotten there is really good. Normally stop in there on the way to and home from deer camp. i plan on making chili soon the wether hasn't gotten cold enough yet, I'm gonna use bear roast in it.
  12. yes!! Brb on my way to the freezer lol
  13. I thought it was funny and I'm not sure why the double jelly dong is in there but it's funny as shit and it fit here
  14. the one by the cabin I hunt outta really like the drippings in the gas grill he fubar'd that thing a few summers ago
  15. Hopfully they find a good home for him and he stays outta trouble
  16. I hear those shitheads think the can run forever no matter what anyone says but they're less reliable than a yugo
  17. it's not about the kill it's about the experience, I'm with you. We're were those young guys too but now days i hardly ever get drunk enough for a hang over period. I have a hard time sitting all day I have circulation problems in my feet and the past few years have been so blasted cold, but that 1000-1400 hour is great especially if your around others that are coming out the woods at that time they're just pushing the deer around and there you sit waiting.
  18. it's in that thread about those 22 drop in kits for ar's, and the problem with them is they are a blow back operation and don't use the gas system there for they plug up the gas port and tube ps the manufactures of those things, atleast the one I had recommend using jacketed bullets and after a few 100 rounds ripping off some 223/556 thru your gun to blow out the gas system
  19. yea there's a time limit on editing now which I was surprise that you could days later here, most forums give you like 30 min an hour. I think it would bet fine like your last post to say you'd like to drop the price
  20. you'd fit in well here in Wisconsin!
  21. this is insane and what he's doing it for is awesome!!!
  22. right, is "about 90" 90? 80? 100?
  23. some times I spread it out on the bed and roll naked in it, does that count??? i hate it when the pennies get stuck in my butt crack
  24. that's the thing a lot of guys ideas of hunting are going out and "hunting" aka getting drunk and away from their jobs/wives. Not saying that's how your Inlaws are, maybe they just suck at it lol. Two of the older guys I hunt with are turning into the getting drunk to get away from life, "hunting" types. It's really disapointing, first we have always shared meat and hunted as a group, and those to aren't pulling their weight. the other is they get really annoying when they drink, one of my good friends won't come up now because his son is getting to hunting age and he doesn't want him exposed to that. Its not a cheap hobby but it's very rewarding, with some reading and questions I'm sure you could figure somthing out on your own. An other friend and his father in law when to WY last year hunting antelope did it totally DYI bother ended up with nice antelope. He got all his info from reading online.
