I don't like a lot of hunting shows because they're ego pumped trophy hunts for the most part. I think they show kids and antis a bad light of hunting. meat eater on the other hand is an excellent perspective of what hunting is really about, you win some you lose some.

think it's more a projectile magnet, my old man build a PVC stand for our target we shot our recurve bows at, mind you I learned to shot in this target "instinctive" no pins no peep sights. His buddy comes over who is a pin shooter and explodes the thing first shot shooting my dads recurve......

I caught a few episodes of last Alaskans this weekend, I don't normally watch those reality type shows cuz the drama and fake poop the producers start pumping in makes it lame but that show is REALLY good

I honestly don't think I'd ever get a shot gun like that. in the article it says the shot gun has been one of the only weapons to stay tube fed. I think the reason for that is due to the fact that it's stayed a tool for hunting and busting thru brush for birds and othe game and the tube fed design keeps it from getting hung up. I was in farm and fleet (like tractor supply but 300 times better) and caught them on sale 6.99 a dozen for pints, 7.99 for a dozen QT. walked outta there with 7 dozen jars lol

it's super easy and fairly cheap to water bath can, my problem is I give my poop away and seldemly get my jars back. You can water bath can hi acidity foods and jams and jellies,you have to pressure cook everything else. I pressure cook the beans and venison. if your looking to get into canning check this book out between it and Google your set
