  6. contact https://www.beachintactical.com/ at the top of the page for a solid sling.. he has vids on how to use it and easy install.. worth the money and you can get a discount as a member here.. also he is a custom shop!! thats very cool for custom rifles! I have several custom and stalk and all hold up thus far. with a 20lb rifle you need a robust sling! this is your answer..

  13. as a younger sketch i made one out of a supersoaker.. lasts longer for burn time but range was 12-15 ft. gas would eat the plastic internals over night.. diesel might have longevity for plastic but never got that far after the initial fun! 15$ priceless!! whish i had a cell back then that took vids. used a cotton ball douced in oil at the mussel for the igniter.... dont try this.

  17. your good brother just didnt want joeblow to read that modifing a barrel nut is the best way.. like you said its your nut grind it if you want your thread is a good source of info thanks for posting.
  18. well you guys say its ok to grind a barrel nut.. barrel nut has no index for gas tube.. gas tube already has bends in it.. ill leave it at that. im sure your fix will work. just not how i fix a problem with a different problem. lets get it down range and worry about that later.. ?

    Right on.

    desert 2017????
  20. how much heat does a barrel nut get? just sayin.. my opinion is the long run factor, i think you are doing a good job with what you have to work with and im no expert. i like it simple, less cutting is more to work with.. as i think about it a gas tube would be eaiser/ cheeper to replace.. my .02
  21. why not just slightly bend the gas tube.. if you move the barrelnut on and off again it will be yet another thing to try to line up and may the tourque gods be with you.. just reading your last thread maybe i missed something in the process.. i had to bend a gas tube "just" on a build and it has been reassembled three times.. shoots as expected! just a fraction to clear! my .02
  22. welcome aboard. the psa is a deal today.. i dont have one nore want one but they seem to work and todays deal on the upper and lower are tempting!
