not sure what the op has but this is mine and doe's have to be removed to clear the gas key.

the plug replaces the space filled by a charge handle ie. side charge. there is a flat edge on the plug the rests on the top of the lower receiver.

welcome aboard! Are you new to the pnw? I'm hours north but sure there are alot of free land you can find in the gorge area? If not ask a farmer they like shooters that rid the land of pests. plenty of back stops in the hills.

when your done with brass you could wash your cloth ass wipes?!

I swear it works! ðð you could pad the barrel with a carpet pad or duck tape a few towels to the outside and reduce the noise sum.. I would do this myself but id be out of brass cleaning in about 3 days and Im here for atleast 14...
