  1. The LSS is one of the best bangs for bucks in chassis systems
  2. I agree....Pricey. I have learned not to do pre-orders unless the BBB gives the company an A.
  3. There is something wrong with society when a 16 year old has murder on his mind instead of girls, cars, and girls.
  4. Turds....their parents must be very proud of them.
  5. <laughs> <lmao> you could paint it with the blue polish in the meantime.
  6. I hate SWATTING as much as the next guy and these guys certainly need to be prosecuted, however the pranksters are only partly to blame. Utilizing SWAT in an intelligence vacuum is a recipe for disaster. Special Weapons and Tactics involves more than kicking in doors and tossing flashbangs.....it appears some departments are forgetting that.
  7. Keep at it, boys.....CNN will remove it before they post something that doesn't fit their agenda. Maybe CNN is going under. They are doing buyouts and downsizing.
  8. If the SHTF, nobody wins.
  9. Logic and Common Sense will always lose on CNN's website.
  10. That is one intense feline.......
  11. VTAC makes a sniper sling with a cuff. I like the TIS slip cuff QD better. IMO it is a pain in the anus wearing a cuff over my clothes all day. I know a lot of guys that it doesn't bother and they prefer the separate cuff, but it ain't my cup of tea. The HOG SS Loophole sling is slowing becoming my favorite. There are a couple of positions that I used with the VTAC...the loop around the strong side tricep for example. I miss the cuff, for locking in, but using my belt and body as a stabilizer works really nice. For the record. I prefer TIS over TAB slings.
  12. Yeah, bro they are both pretty awesome. I still haven't found a tactical sling that is up to the task like the VTAC. I know BFG is good, but for me, the VTAC is the tactical sling that all others are judged by. I too have run the VTAC on my bolt gun and it still gets the job done.
  13. ^True. That could certainly be it as well.
  14. PM Sent. Let me know if you need pics or a video.
  15. Provided that you are doing everything else right, I would say that is poor trigger follow through and the attempt to drive the gasser like a bolt gun. I only say that because your first shots are good, then you pull right, then you go high. Not indicative of a hot string. Just my observation... And as stated, your rifle may not like that round the best.
  16. I have seen those on a couple of weapons at a few range sessions....but never tried them. I figured they would be more expensive. Since they are reasonably priced and somewhat stylish.....I will be ordering one. I have gone to their website many times in the past when researching chassis systems. As you probably already know, those chassis systems are awesome. I see you are sporting a VTAC, which I love, but have you considered: https://www.triadtactical.com/Tactical-Intervention-Specialists-Slip-Cuff-Sling-TIS-SC1.html If you do barricade shooting or use the hog saddle/tripod, this is money: http://stores.hogsaddle.com/ss-loophole-sling/ The loophole sling is on my duty bolt action and it is nothing short of spectacular. Whoever designed this sling has obviously done a metric poop ton of position/tripod and barricade shooting. It took a little getting used to, but it will replace my other slings (at least on the bolt guns).
  17. If you remember, I was thinking about walking away from the 300blk a while back, but I was talked out of it by the usual suspects. I enjoy shooting mine, but like you, it is the least shot upper I have.
  18. Badger is my first choice....always. For money saving, TPS TSR Rings.
  19. I love my job and I consider it an honor even after almost two decades. I wanted to serve this great Nation regardless of the current funk it appears to be in. If good people that love the Constitution and Freedom don't take jobs in the public trust, then what will we be left with.....?
  20. The trigger will bring you instant happiness. I appreciate DBM, but only for my work guns. I have a personal 700 AAC-SD with a B&C A2 and have yet to get the muster the desire to have it inletted. I know it is personal preference, but I can think of few upgrades that rival my Timney triggers in my bolt guns. Plus....I am too cheap to load up on AI mags.
  21. I only ask because you mentioned one hole groups and while the groups you have posted are pretty good, it is worth remembering that you can turn a Chevy Cruse into a Mclaren P1. DPMS barrels can be shooters, that is for sure, especially for production barrels, but doing a lot of lathing, cutting, threading, tuning, etc may make your .3 inch group in that production barrel worse rather than better. 3 shot groups tells a tale, 5 shot groups tells a story, 10 shot groups tells the truth.
  22. Yeah, that was pretty random.
  23. Looks pretty sharp........ See what I did there? :))
  24. Just call the vendor you bought it from and tell them what is happening. See what they will work out with you.
  25. That is a solid name. I think you hit a home run with that one.
