  1. As an active duty LEO, I love UAVs. They are cheaper and quieter than traditional aircraft and can be deployed in all types of weather. UAVs have provided me with intelligence of targets when it was unsafe for pilots to get in the air. Sadly, none of the domestic ones and a limited number of those overseas can deliver armament on target. I know that this sounds bad, but if deadly force is warranted, what does it matter if threat is eliminated by a 9mm, 45, 5.56, 7.62, asp baton, vehicle or high ordinance? The truth is it doesn't. Those who have been through Deadly Force/Shooting Reviews know that it doesn't matter how threat died, but rather or not the use of deadly force was justified. In the case of Chris Dorner, it appears that this guy wasn't cut out to be in law enforcement. He has shown no regard for human life, innocence and the rule of law. According to what I have read, he appears to have a perpetual victim mentality. As far as silencing him, well from reading the manifesto, he shot is intellectual wad in that left wing scandal sheet. They want to silence him because he has killed and shot people....and has threatened to kill more. There is no excuse for the LAPD shooting without probable cause. They should be sued and people should be fired. I know people jump on Waco as the paramount example of Govt Abuse. Four ATF Special Agents were killed serving a lawful warrant in broad daylight (not at zero dark thirty), the Davidians Refused to surrender after the cease fire, and negotiations went to crap with the functional equivalent of hostages inside. I find it hard to believe that anyone with the same intel would not opted for a tactical option. This Dorner issue is just another reason that law abiding citizens should own and carry whatever they want since the cops can't protect them, hell they can't even protect themselves.
  2. You can't afford not to. Come to GA.
  3. Good ole Mark. I will continue to buy his products for reasons such as this. I know it is largely symbolic since I only know of a handful of Agencies fielding the OBR , but it always makes me happy for someone to push back against gun hating politicians.
  4. It is tough to beat Harris bipods. I know that they don't look as cool as the others, but they function as advertised and are built very sturdily (if that is a word). You can load the heck out of a Harris and abuse it and it will still give you service. The BRM-S is my favorite. I have it on my duty rifle and all of my personal precision rifles.
  5. Mr. Perdue just hit the cash cow and it says moo-lah.
  6. It seems that for the past couple of years Winchester has had one issue after another regarding ammo. Thanks for the post.
  7. I know we should always hope for a peaceful solution. What disturbs me even more is some of the comments you read on the net where people are not condemning his actions.
  8. I knew it!
  9. That's why we should all be wearing Danners, Carhartt, Arcteryx, and Crye Precision.
  10. Uh oh. It's only a matter of time before a good neck f$&king is recommended.
  11. The Officer has obviously never been challenged before and it hurt his feelings. People are going to ask your VIP some pretty rough questions and sometimes be a-holes, regulating them is not your job and only a rookie or a bafoon would monkey with the press like that. I am guessing the Officer is both.
  12. I am going to try to make one of these. I will let y'all know how it comes out.
  13. I am having a hard time following, but if you keep the internal components with its respective tube you will be fine. The M4 will cycle the A2 and the rifle length gas will cycle the collapsable stock. Is that what you were asking?
  14. I personally don't care what they believe, think, or estimate they can pass. My extended family and I are going to spend our time, talent, and treasure fighting this.
  15. We should all plan to do this in our local areas.
  16. Ah yes.....the old penis in the neck trick. I have been following this phenomenon.
  17. Looks like a whole lotta cut and paste.
  18. Lots of wisdom here. As responsible gun owners we are obligated to speak rationally about our rights and the benefits of legal, uninhibited gun ownership. We can't allow the black helicopter crowd or the gun grabbing communists to control the conversation. We must show the uninformed that gun owners are rational responsible people that respect the Constitution and hates tyranny. Are liberals behind it? I don't know, but I try to muffle the "it didn't happen" just as fast as I do "the NRA has blood on its hands" crowd. Both are nuts in my opinion.
  19. I agree. They deserve to go out of business.
  20. I hope they stick to their guns on this, but remember...... Sheriffs are politicians too. It reminds me of the story of the guy that picks up a snake and befriends him and is later bitten by the snake. The guys asks the snake "how could you bite me, we were friends." The snake replies, "well, you knew I was a snake when you picked me up." I have no confidence in these Sheriffs when it comes to telling the Federal Government to eff off. I have said it before, we need to continue our efforts to educate, advocate, and donate so that no AWB gets passed. I refuse to believe that this fight is all but won by the liberals (Commies).
  21. I don't understand why people consider him a leader in the Republican party. He had his chance in 2012 to step to the plate when his party and country needed him to--he didn't and since then has appeared to side with and sing Obama's praises at any chance he gets. I get it...... he is the Governor of New Jersey and he can't keep his job if a good chunk of those liberals don't vote for him. It is obvious that he believes any publicity is good publicity. I sure hope he decides that he is content in New Jersey and lets Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, Bobby Jindal, Ted Cruz and others in the same class speak for the conservatives of this nation. This marvel of fitness (Christie) didn't say anything about Obama staging those kids behind him during his E.O. signing (as pointed out above) He failed to address the fact that the armed Troopers protecting his children do in fact keep them safer and...... it most assuredly slipped his mine that NJ has very strict gun laws. Statistically, in the time it took to type this, numerous gun related crimes were committed in Patterson and Newark thus proving those "strict" gun laws are utterly useless......much like Christie himself.
  22. http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/christie-nra-ad-obama-daughters-reprehensible-230123003--politics.html Not a surprise to me.
  23. I can't believe this guy was an actual cop once. http://nation.foxnews.com/chicago-violence/2012/06/27/police-chief-blames-pilgrims-cops-chicago-violence http://www.suntimes.com/news/cityhall/6145603-418/top-cop-garry-mccarthy-likens-federal-gun-laws-to-racism.html
  24. Maybe McCarthy was onto something when it came to Communism. <dontknow>
  25. That was easy.
