Well I got the box in this morning and was a bit dissappointed. Its just the other small parts I ordered not my upper. On the horn with them now trying to figure out whats going on as my upper is showing shipped as well but the box weight on my tracking number is only showing 2 lbs which is the one i recieved.
Actually not as bad as some would expect. Logged on today to check if it was done "processing" and it said complete. Hit track order and my upper will be here tomorrow. So 11 days order to door. Not to shabby during a sale and a holiday.
Thats a given.....lol
Abita brewing company, Chafunkta, and NOLA push out some dam good brews. I dont live far from the abita brew pub thats a great place to eat n drink great beer at the same time.
She asked me the question earlier if this will be the last one because now i have a little one and a big one....lol I just laughed and said well now my son and you need one also right?
I still cringe when cleaning my glock 19. Even after checking and rechecking I still hate the fact that you have to pull the trigger to break the dam thing down. One thing I hate about that gun.
I don't think it should cause a problem as from what I was told the buffer is just to match the stock you are using. Although the rifle length buffer may slow down the action on the 16 inch barrel a bit. Someone can correct me if im wrong??
wow i went check out that wramsite that green mist linked and its pretty serious.
I feel like Im definitely on a watch list if I wasn't already after reading some things out of the resources link lol....Not that I won't be back to read more later tho....
yeah a friend of mines been sitting on a stripped psa lower he got at a gunshow for 80 months back and got in on the $579 rifle kit they are offering right now. Stainless barrel and midwest 12" free float rail. Pretty dam good rifle for under 700 if you ask me.
Come on down to louisiana brother. Weathers mostly hot down here except this year so far with this global warming we have n all lol. I live on the northshore of lake pontchartrain and its wonderful. Ample land, country, and only 15 minutes from a longhorn steakhouse lol.
I will be watching this thread as Ive been eyeing getting one for a while now. Don't know much about them other than Is one sweet looking gun and one Id love to add to my collection
Well my build budget just got blown. I was looking around on the PSA easter uppers sale and made the move on one. I was trying to stay around 600 but i now have 850 into it but I must say I can't wait to see the finished product. This is the upper I bought what y'all think:

Personally I love it and it took a bit of persuasion to convince the wife but now all i need is a new stock to replace the mil spec carbine adjustable and I'm set.
Last range trip my step dad was sighting in his 12 gauge with sabot slugs. It was windy and we had our usual towel on the concrete shooting bench. He was using a rest borrowed from the range (little foam one) and just as he was about to shoot the wind kicked up, blew the towel over the barrel just as he was pulling the trigger. Needless to say the sabot and the blast ripped the towel half way off the table taking the rest with it and letting the barrel hit the exposed concrete. Ive never seen my step dad so pissed as the shotgun was his dads and didn't have a scratch till that day.
I wanted to screen shot it but now I can't find it, there was a lady on there with a dpms 308 with a no name scope and free float barrel with AFG. Thats all it had in upgrades. Lady said it was her soon to be ex husbands and was selling it because all he left her was 100 bucks...anyways enough with the backstory....she wanted 3k. People told her that a fair price would be between 12-1500 and she said no 3k firm because thats what he said it was worth when he bought it. Just shook my head and scrolled on...
Theres a Facebook group Im part of here in Louisiana called cajun swap shop. Well anyways you should see how people value 5 year old guns that "only have 100 down the pipe". They ask equal or more than new in trade value or slightly below new value cash price its hilarious. And they love to throw in 200 rounds and ask 250 over new price cause it comes with ammo and a case or something. I just laugh and scroll on.
