Good. On sale now at Primary arms for $99.99
  2. That is a,true professional.
  3. Welcome from cold and snowy northern Wisconsin.
  4. Open it and there is a claymore mine fresh from the Golan Heights disguised as a fruit cake. My Grandmas fruit cake was probably more lethal than a claymore, but that's another story.

    New guy here.

    Welcome from Cheese land.
  6. Congrats don’t know what the seller was thinking, but Armalite guarantees the AR10 T’ rifles to 1 MOA. So pat yourself on the back, that is a steal.
  7. Nice, should shoot well. Stock up on magazines when you find them.
  8. Guessing that is a AR10T upper. If so that is a tripple lapped barrel. Is it 1 in 10 twist? If so that is a 10T. Congrats that is a deal.
  9. Wonder what kind of buffer/spring assembly they are using? Not to say that is part of the problem, I am just curious if they had to reengineer those with the reduced weight of everything else.
  10. It looks like you have to give up flexibility if you choose to save weight via the G2. Ruling out Federal XM80? That is harsh. I routinely shoot M80 NATO ball from various manufacturers and countries in both my Armalite AR10’s , and my M1A, then reload the brass with 168 and 175 grain bullets. Other than some marginal accuracy sometimes with the original 147 grain bullets, I have never had a problem with the M80 type cartridges. Well good luck and let us know what happens.
  11. IC, your gonna hate this, but with that type of tech support, think about doing your own build with the support of the guys on this forum, or consider selling your G2 and getting something like an Armalite or a Daniels Defense. You will pay more, but their techs know what they are talking about. They have a problem, and it sounds that not even the techs are trained into what to do about it. That is not good.
  12. We need all the citizens like that we can get.
  13. IC, sent you a Private Message with a link to a discussion about this. Has been a problem with them all along apparently.
  14. I would call DPMS and ask to speak with the Head Armorer. They evidently know they have a problem, and I am guessing they know the root cause. Tell them you like the rifle and want to keep it but need to find out how to fix this. A firing pin that ruptures primers should be considered unacceptable by themanufacturer.
  15. Pretty good but under -100 degrees it should read: “ Hell freezes over, the Vikings finally win a Super Bowl, Clinton finally tells all.- Shepp gets it,don’t you?
  16. I should have waved out the right side of the plane when I came in on Sunday night. Right over the lake.

    50 BMG deer hunt

I agree. Not to mention I don't like deer farms because of all the disease they spread among wild deer and elk. I only hunt when I am going to use as much of the animal as possible. You do a body shot with that, you probably waste a third of the deer. And you don't know where that bullet is going when it leaves the deer, and how much kinetic energy it has left. Probably enough left to go through the wall of a house a mile away. On the good side, if your going to do it, take out a deer farm deer with it, not a wild one.
  18. +1 Marital harmony and all that stuff.
  19. I hear ya. My two foot surgeries this fall and a shoulder surgery last spring means I only got about half the wood cut I need for this winter. Just ran out of time. Wood for the fireplace I have plenty. Wood for the outside boiler, I have enough to get through mid January, then I will bite the bullet and use propane. Fortunately I got a good price on my fill and it should get me through until spring. Nothing cozier than heating with wood, but getting up at 4 am on a -30F morning to fill the boiler is a bear.
  20. We have 8" on the ground, 3" more coming tonight. More plowing tomorrow
  21. I was in New Orleans Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, so I just missed it. All I got was a sweat worked up walking down to get a shrimp Po Boy! 70 degrees and humid.
  22. We are getting Lake Effect every night. Plow again tomorrow
