  1. Is it time to rent a backhoe to dig a hole for a cement blockhouse yet?
  2. Since I have been on a diuretic for blood pressure, moving water is a snap for me, whether I like it or not. In seriousness, still about two weeks away from resuming exercise with this ankle. Doc has to give me final clearance.
  3. That was my first thought.
  4. Its designed that way to allow the buffer to “breathe”
  5. Welcome from Wisconsin.
  6. You and me both. Governments become total oppressors, terrorists target whomever they want. It’s gonna happen eventually.

Great post! That Nigerian prince owes me money! Just grilled a boneless butterflied leg of lamb roast rubbed down with seasonings, olive oil and lots of garlic. Wife and I are celebrating my birthday tomorrow(Monday) early, had a few friends over. It was great! With lots of leftovers. Got the kettle grill up to 650 F, Seared it on both sides, then put it on offset heat and cut the heat down to 400 with some apple wood chunks for smoke. 40 minutes later was done. Sorry no pictures. A nice seasoning crust formed on the outside.
  12. Guys I finally started exercising a few weeks ago to go with the diet. Started with a couple of 5 pound potato bags, I would hold them at arms length in front of me for a full minute without dropping them. I progressed to 10 pound bags, 25 pound bags, 50 pound bags, and Friday I was able to do that with 2 -100 pound bags. I am real proud of myself. Tomorrow I am going to put a couple of potatos in each bag and see how I do.
  13. In the spirit of the contest, for you guys in a hurry Thursday.
  14. Thank you merciful Lord, I already have all the prizes so you have spared me. Now if you were offering an Armalite B model Super SASS, I would have posted a video of me sliding that poultry down my gullet in a New York minute.

Once was enough to teach me. I will go to “Active Handling” with traction control now, but I never totally turn it off unless I am in a big parking lot with no light poles and want to make donuts. Which I don’t do because tires are expensive! When I put the Yellow Jacket to bed for the winter, I had to take it in for an oil change when we had snow last week. Still don’t know how I got up my driveway hill. Back to thread:I have a great stuffing recipe that has been in my family since the 1920’s. Bread cubes- now I just use pepperidge farm 3 stalks celery 1 cup raisins 3 peeled apples 1 white onion 1 stick butter 1 cup white wine 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning 1 tablespoon Sage 1 beaten egg dice everthing but the egg and bread and add to a sauce pan with the wine and butter stick and seasonings. Bring to a boil and turn down and let simmer for 15 minutes covered. Put the bread in a bowl and add the contents of the sauce pan and stir in along with the egg. Lightly salt the cavities of the turkey and stuff it full. Cook turkey according to the recommendations for a stuffed bird. Stuff is adictive. Can’t do it this year myself because of the diet.
