  1. It shoots sub MOA so it is my kind of mess.

How to cook tofu; Open package, dump in trash, grill a big piece of meat.
  3. Preparations in Sweden for the burial of IKEA founder Ingvar Kamprad are moving forward.
  4. Whatever that means
  5. 1911's I have a hard time selling and an easy time buying. Nice looking pistol but I have too many already. I like my pre ban Colt AR15A2 HBAR, but that is a completely different can of worms then that upper your looking at. I have relegated it to distance shooting with 175gr Hornady BTHP reloads. Accurate as all get out. Was mil spec until I switched out the upper.
  6. Guessing you might find the 38 gr. Loads Might not fully cycle the action. I had 38.5 gr RL15 loads that had a problem with that on my AR10’s.
  7. Is that the original water pump on that jet ski? Wish mine had been that fast when I lived on a 200 acre Lake. Going on Lake Superior with that sucker, a big wave would launch you half way to the moon!
  8. That is why you always have two separate systems covering each other.
  9. SS is far more knowledgeable on that then I am. As I shoot my loads through three different rifles, I pretty much stay at 2.80. My Armalite Gen 2 mags are derivatives of the M14 mag.
  10. Don’t know unless I get an opportunity to shoot one. Like my AR10’s anyway.
  11. You talk with people whom have shot or own the original AR10’s and they mention that they are lighter and have significantly less felt recoil than any modern day AR10, or 308AR. Apparently when they engineered the M16 from the original 7.62 AR10s, they made some signifigant changes to the design. Then when 308ARs were resurrected, they engineered them from the already modified M16 design, making for pretty major changes from the original ones. I would like to get an opportunity to shoot an original some day, just to see what they are talking about.

    +1
  13. They won’t have the same BCG design as the original AR10’s. Which from What I understand really reduced recoil along with the origianl buffer design.
  14. A beautiful rifle. Bet it’s a shooter.
  15. Like that they are doing it. Don’t know yet if I will buy one. Need to do more research first.
  16. Guess you get what you pay for. I look at ammo like that as material to go out and blast clay pigeons and what not at 50-100 yards. But I treasure those LC cases! Then they get loaded up with 168 gr or 175 gr Sierra SMK's for now for some detail work When those are gone, I am going to change to the Barnes copper bullets. I wouldn't expect much accuracy from the originals,
  17. Nope, The State CMP Director is an acquaintance of mine, so he keeps me informed.
  18. Saiga, that Armalite Super SASS should have the Armalite 2 stage National Match trigger. That is a damn good trigger! I would take it out to the range and wring it out good with some quality ammo before I would even think about replacing that trigger. It would probably be money not well spent at this time.
  19. I have the Battle Link stock on a 15.Strong and well made.
  20. These same arguments come up every time the military has switched calibers since the 30/40 Krag. It's time to come into the 21st century. There is so much money wasted now by the defense department, what's a couple billion more? Maybe 4 less F35's?
  21. Some, but the thread of the story was pretty accurate minus the histronics.
  22. Just saw 12 Strong, well.....damn! What a movie!
