  1. Amen, Amen. When I need a 308 AR that doesn't jam, doesn't FTF, Doesn't FTE, and puts it Out at an MOA or less, Armalite, baaby, that's the name.
  2. Need to find some of that stuff.
  3. What sights/Optics? I think you told us, but three glasses of wine tonight with dinner, and I forgot.

    Grilling

I don't have them do the tenderloin cut, my least favorite steak, but I have a ton of T-Bones and Ribeyes. I checked to see if anymore were available, and she said not until next year. I order in April, and she has to set it up then. They used to do "belted" which they raised themselves(4H, etc.,) but now she has a single steer farm she works with. I will follow up with her next spring. Price went up to $3 a pound butchered.
  5. Excellent! Look forward to the review.

Beef for the next year. That's a five foot, 64 gallon cooler.
  7. Both my AR10 rifle and my AR10T carbine have the spring loaded firing pin. Try sending MRaley a PM he is the man in the know when it comes to AR10's
  8. It is pretty obvious Armalite is trying to figure out how to use up and market their remaining "B" model parts and recievers. As that is what I have I am going to wait until they fire sale their "B" model magazines, and buy a lifetime supply.
  9. I have some 40 year old 357 Remington Jacketed soft points that did that. Fortunately there is only about 20 rounds left.
  10. Will do remember what it was like for my sons first deer.

Next time, 87, so I went down to the point and enjoyed itSorry but it won't load straight.
  12. CDA is beautiful, no doubt. You guys are about ready for elk season aren't you?
  13. Yes they will, both Coho and Browns do in that river.
  14. Without naming a product to avoid the rule, now there are starting to be some cheaper, $500-$800 thermal imagers out to use with Red Dot sights. What do you guys think? Useful? Or save up for Gen2 or 3 night vision? This is one example. http://tplogic.com/thermal-solutions/t10/

  17. nice, I know some Indiana DNR people, they are a pretty good bunch. John Goss the Asian Carp Czar, is ex Indiana DNR.
  18. Catch of the Day.
  19. An amazing story.
  20. I hear you. Washington/ Idaho would be the only other place I would live now.
  21. Was there in May, won't be back for a long long time. You can see and feel the rot. But it is a beautiful place.
  22. Your turn will come Brother.
  23. Good luck Shepp hope those Chinook show up. A friend is a professional guide on the Michigan side in Alpena, and he is seeing a lot of changes in Lake Michigan. Fewer and smaller fish. I won't get into the science, but the basic reason is destruction of the food web by Zebra and Quagga mussels. I was at the place on Michigan in the picture below Thursday as an observer for an emergency response drill for an oil spill. I would really like to try fishing there.
  24. Looks like Armalite recycled some extra AR10T barrels and front free floating hand guards, some NM detachable carry handles, and other spare pieces they had laying around to make a commerative rifle. Not necessairily bad, but not a real accurate replica of the original. But It will shoot well, no doubt. $1799 for any AR10 T is a decent price and worth it.
